Blaschko’s is a bar for folks who cut the sleeves off their tee-​shirts and drink American lagers by the case. There were super-​bright neon lights around the bar, butt-​rock blaring from the speakers, and a deep-​fried haze coming out of the kitchen when I popped in one night to see what Blaschko’s was all about. If that’s your thing I’m not going to hold it against you, but it’s not my vibe.

Thank you to our Bartender, Jordan, who made my daughter and I feel welcome even when we just ordered water and a burger to share on a late mid Sunday afternoon. My daughter just started her first year at Gustavus. Great to find a local spot for a real burger (and looks like bloodys) and crisp waffle fries and seasoned sour cream. We will be back. The atmosphere reminded me a bit of when I was working as a waitress back in the early 80’s at Bullwinkles in Mpls.

Is there a delicious bloody mary in my hand and a «hot chick» on my plate? Why wouldn’t there be! Embassy bar is the place to go where you get great service, great food and an enjoyable atmosphere. Being an out of towner (California girl) it’s hard to find a place that embodies good food, good booze. Thank God for this gem!
