I see people have complained about returns. I don’t know I had a great experience here. They were nice and accommodating. We got a 3 piece set for my daughters room. One piece had a chip after unboxing it. Not a big deal we call them they order new piece and give us a 25 dollar certificate in store credit. It’s been a month furniture great, no malfunctions. It’s not high end la de da furniture. If you are on a budget like the rest of America it’s fine, looks good and they have great options.

I was prepared to give my experience here 5 stars but after the sale something happened to make me uneasy. We bought a mattress in 2011 that we had to turn in under warranty. We were very pleased that the process of getting the mattress exchanged under warranty because it was very easy. All we did was email our customer service rep three photos and she approved it. We received a full credit to purchase any mattress in the store with. We paid for delivery and they came and picked up the old mattress and delivered the new. We were surprised at how easy and smooth this went since we were dealing with warranty and most companies make warranty exchanges difficult. At this point we give Weekends Only 5 stars. Five days later, at 3 minutes shy of 10PM, I received a rather creepy phone call from a cell phone. The man said he was a driver for Weekends Only and wanted to know«if anyone would be home tomorrow so they could pick up our old mattress.»(1) it was picked up 5 days prior and(2) why is someone calling me at 10pm on a weeknight to ask me this? I emailed our customer service rep immediately after and asked her to verify our mattress was received and why I explain would get a phone call like that. She verified they have the old mattress, apologized and said she sent my concern to the Delivery Dept Manager to contact me. It’s been 4 days– I’ve called and the manager was not in. I’m hesitant to recommend this place now because of the lack of concern from the manager not addressing the suspicious phone call to my home. If the phone call was a mistake, I can understand. But some concern from the manager would have been nice.

Ok I will give 3 stars, I am happy and beyond thrilled that I have a gorgeous tall kitchen table from Weekends Only. A big con is they do not deliver on certain days, I had to change my delivery day to 3 days after the fact because I had to be at work on the original delivery day, Also they apparently did not have my 2nd delivery day set up because someone from the store called me a second time to confirm a date? they tried to actually convince me to carry a 100 lb. table out of the store on my own and set it up on my own. Um, no, there was no way. I was surprised at the extra 100 bucks to deliver. that’s kind of crazy. But I had no choice. The store had to deliver, so they put the table together, but the delivery guy tried to tell me they will put all the kitchen chairs together for an EXTRA fee. Um, they never said that IN the store. so this delivery guy I think was trying to make money on the side. Seriously. I declined. I have not called to ask them about this, but anyway, I love the table so much its exactly what I wanted. The price for the table was amazing too. the sales guy was brand new but he did pretty good helping me I’d say. So now I have 4 chairs that I cannot assemble because there are a ton of pieces to the chairs, and NO instructions come in the box.None. Needless to say I have 2 chairs put away in a closet and I tried to assemble 2 chairs very badly.

Having purchased furniture from Weekends Only in the past, they were the first stop on my list when it was time to replace the sectional in my living room last weekend. I needed to find a sectional, coffee table, two end tables, and a credenza. I first stopped by on Saturday around 1pm. Immediately upon walking through the door I was swarmed by no less than 4 employees, all jockeying for their commission. Having no idea which sectionals I was interested in, I shook them all off and went to browse the couches and tables. Eventually, I found a sectional I liked, and attempted to track down an employee to ask about delivery options. Almost 20 minutes later, I still could not get a single person to help. I had been basically attacked at the front and now that I was actually ready to drop several thousand dollars on mid-grade furniture, no one wanted to sell it to me. Having had enough of the complete lack of service, I headed for the door. Still no one so much as looked at me. After the terrible experience of Saturday, I should have known better than to come back on Sunday. This time I snagged one of the employees at the door. I took him to the sectional I had picked out and asked about their discounts for purchasing multiple items.(They don’t have and, FYI, unless you spend over $ 10,000 he told me). We asked about delivery options and were told that they would only deliver to us on Friday three weeks from now. Forget that, I thought, I’ll just take it home today. At this point I was informed that I would have to collect my furniture from the warehouse in Hazelwood. I decided this was fine despite the fact that it was snowing and the warehouse closed in less than an hour. I turned to tell the employee I would pick it up, only to be handed a receipt and pointed towards the checkout line. So apparently I was not going to get the credenza and tables I had selected. I had told the employee twice that I was purchasing multiple items, and had even asked about discounts. I guess he just wasn’t interested in selling an additional $ 1,000 worth of furniture. Not seeing anyone else in the immediate vicinity I headed out to the warehouse. The only thing keeping me from giving one star was the warehouse team. They were funny, friendly and helpful. Even though there was a plethora of snow and wind happening at the time they loaded everything into my truck without complaint. Honestly, it would have been a much better experience if the warehouse team was the only one we had worked with.

Came in for the first time to this chain, actually found a dining set that we liked, so we purchased it. Arrived a week later, table and chairs were poorly packaged, were slightly damaged and had discoloration throughout the table. Was not able to come back before the ridiculously short 7 day return period and was pretty much told that they didn’t care to even offer to resolve the situation. Won’t go back and I do not recommend spending money here because of the poor quality product and lack of customer service.

I expressed to the saleswoman how important it was to me that I not have to put together ANYPART of my tv stand. At the time, I was working long hours and simply did not have the time to waste. I even asked if I could pay extra to have someone assemble it for me. She enthusiastically assured me that it would come fully assembled and I wouldn’t have to worry about a thing. Just pop in one piece in the middle, and it would be good to go. IMAGINE my surprise when I opened the main box to find about A HUNDREDPIECES, just waiting to be assembled. I was beyond livid. The side doors don’t fit well, but otherwise it appears to have held up well.

We have visited Weekends only multple times sometimes with luck others not so much. I love the Ramble furniture they have there, and some of the sales staff are a bit pushy at times and wont leave you alone. Beyond that furniture shopping is a crapshot and its worth a look as they have some nice things for better prices, but beware of the MFD wood and composites as with any furniture store. The best Weekends only is the one in Town and Country.

We’ve been looking for mattresses around town the past few days. Weekends Only the sales guys are creepy and stalk you even when you’ve asked to be left alone. Guys don’t seem to know their product, they just read me what’s on the tag. Just a shame. Looks like our business is going elsewhere.

I got a call from the manager, Marilyn, who apologized for making me transport my new mattress under the warranty claim to my home. She said that they should have taken care of delivery. Didn’t know that, but I mentioned all the troubles I’d had with the CS dept. and she again apologized and sent me a $ 50GC. I’m adding stars for the follow-up on her part.

My update on Weekends Only is that they ended up replacing the piece of our sectional that could not be connected to the rest of it, so that now it all fits together like it should have when they sold it to us. Unfortunately, the piece that we were missing had been used as a display at another store, and you can tell a slight difference in the condition of the leather. *sigh* Whatever… Apparently the pieces(remember, all of the sectional was broken down into individual PIECES when we picked it up) got mixed up between a few stores selling the same sectional, so there were actually three Weekends Only locations that each had displays that they were selling sectionals of, which could not be assembled… So, although in the end Weekends Only did fix the issue(I guess), it was still such a HUGE pain to find someone in the company that was capable and willing to do so. And the incompetence of no one noticing that the couch couldn’t be assembled properly when three different stores put it out on their showroom floors! And we paid for a brand new couch, part of which was actually a display… Ahhh, I could go on for days!

We went out looking for a new dining room set and found one at a great price available that day. We did have to pick it up at the warehouse, but it all fit in our SUV and we were able to have it immediately! Super happy with my purchase, the price and the service.
