Called a few days prior and spoke to a nice lady about getting my 500 year old chest opened as key was locked inside during shipping. Arrived today as agreed with chest and locksmith took one look and mr no can do said it was very difficult… would take 5 or 6 hours… cost $ 500+ with no promises. Went to Lock Man a few hours later… took them 20 minutes and $ 25. Honest friendly and capable (Lock man).

if I could rate this 0 stars, I would. I called twice to make sure they could cut a laser cut vw key and they assured me twice they could, but only at 9 a.m. when one particular technician was there. I got there at 9 a.m., walked in, to a very rude older man. He said «Nope, can’t do it». Never cracked a smile, nothing. I was going to inquire about having someone come out to my house to have it rekeyed, but there’s no way I would give this company any of my business. There are plenty of other locksmiths around this area. This guy needs to be behind a desk somewhere where he can’t interact with people because his social skills are very poor.
