The skirt steak and trout are excellent. Service was good but the food and location was the spotlight. We have dined on the patio and indoors and had great experiences both times. Great margaritas too. Dog friendly.

Tom Terrific with another honest restaurant review. I visited this downtown St. Petersburg on the corner restaurant near the end of May in the early afternoon. I love sitting out on the sidewalk table enjoying the view. Danielle was my server and I must say whoever hires the folks at BellaBrava is doing an excellent job. every time I come here the servers seem genuinely happy to greet, seat me and take my order. they make it a point to be sure that what I order is exactly what I get. I ordered the Italian grinder for $ 11. inside this delicious sub was prosciutto cotto, salami, mortadella, capicola, smoked provolone, calabrian chili oil, lettuce, tomato, garlic aioli all on fresh italian bread. the sandwich came with«herbed fries». I wasn’t sure what to expect and when they came they were very similar in appearance and taste to McDonald’s fries only with flecks of herb and more salt. I happen to like Mickey D fries and these were good but I think BellaBrava can do a bit better. when a man(manager?server?) came over to ask how my meal was I shared my thoughts with him about the fries. I also had one of the beer specials and it was delivered by a woman who Danielle said was a general manager. I likened her to the Roadrunner because she zipped around all over very quickly taking care of everyone who might need something. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in eating here. give it a try with confidence.

Food was good and the atmosphere is trendy. They have outside seating if you want to sit in the Florida sun. The salads were amazing and servers were pleasant.

Very good food(once they get it right), absolutely terrible service. Deplorable. We waited *almost* an hour for our dinner even after we told the wait staff that we needed to get out rather quickly. In addition, after stressing a dairy allergy, my pasta came out covered in cheese. Clearly their staff needs to be educated on the importance of preparing food allergy meals properly and what exactly falls under«dairy»!! Will never go back here.

While I forgot to take pics, the presentation was great in spite of the high volume of dishes coming out of the kitchen. Our sever Chrissy could not have been more timely and professional. We ordered grilled artichoke as an appetizer– amazing, followed by ravioli genovese, Cobb salad and an Italian grinder. All three were on point. I think one of the more impressive things about this restaurant is how hard everyone works at pleasing their guests. I noticed all the staff, including the General Manager Carolyn, running food, clearing tables, seating guests, etc. we will definitely return.

Husband and I came here for dinner when we were on vacation a week ago. This was 100% the best dinner we had all week. We sat outside and really enjoyed the ambiance and our server was phenomenal. Her name was Corey and she was probably one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Food wise everything was on point. I had the goat cheese ravioli and it was freaking amazing. We had the artichokes as an appetizer and it was also soo good. My husband had like pasta with sausage In it and with this pizza dough on top of it and it was so good. I am literally dreaming of the next meal I can have here. It’s a must go.

One of my favorite places and have been here on a few special occasions. We sat outside. Our waitress was attentive and did a good job of ensuring the dinner was well spaced and satisfactory. We had the Red and White Sangrias. Both were well made with fruit. Quite deliciius. We had the fried calamari to start. It was very tender and delicious. The house salad with their house dressing was light and very flavourful. My wife had the chicken parm with spaghetti and I had the linguini vongole. The chicken parm was tender and flavourful while the spaghetti was just ok. It seemed to lack any pizzazz. The linguini with clams was very good with a good portion of clams. However, it was a little spicy with red pepper flakes. This was a little unexpected and a little too spicy for my liking. The prices are good for the area. Overall, another very good meal at one of my favorite restaurants.

Bella Brava was perfectly nice. Sitting in a corner in which I could feel the St. Pete vibe, eat delicious food, and sit in great atmosphere. Compared to St. Pete prices, Bella Brava was decent. My boyfriend and I were surprised. I ordered the linguini with clam and it was delicious. It was hard for him and I to choose a wine because the list was great. However, we received great advice from our server and chose a delicious wine.

Popped in for dinner Sunday night, greeted and seated right away. Nice corner booth. Had delicious appetizers and salad. Husband had lobster Mac and cheese which was richly delicious. Will be back, lots of menu items would like to try. Nice options for wine and our server made a delicious suggestion which was nice also. She was very attentive and prompt, and super friendly.

The food was excellent, but the wait staff was really poor. They clearly were understaffed and the manager wasn’t paying attention. When we went to go get seated they told us there would be a 30 minute wait and they had about 20 tables open on the outside.

«An Open Love Letter To Bella Brava» I have been a frequent Bella Brava customer now for 2 years, and when I say I dont go to other restraunts because after Bella everything is a massive disappointment I mean it. The food is always incredible consistent, and fresh! The management staff is quite possibly the last of their kind that understand what hospitality is, Because of carolyn & xavier my husband doesnt have to guess about where to take me to dinner. As far as the waitstaff I am quite smitten with joe! He’s my favorite! Although I admit that I sit most regularly with him, Sandy, Chandler, Tony, Tina are also so friendly and attentive I know I will always be treated like family.

I’ve never had a disappointing meal at Bella Brava. From the opening bread basket to the wonderful combinations of flavors wrapped in each entrée — this is a solid 4+ star review. We enjoyed the soup of the day, wood grilled chicken piccata and eggplant Parmesan. So why the four+ stars? Simply because the menu is limited. Others here have commented about that in the reviews. And the sangria was not all that it was promoted to be. As a matter fact my sangria went back– I traded it in for a house wine. Unfortunately, that was not much better. Bella Brava can get very busy. They offer plenty of outdoor seating in addition to their nicely arranged interior. Overall, this is a great place to enjoy a decent priced meal in the Sunshine City.

Limited menu but different and very good. You can get something as simple as a burger, pizza or even chicken parm here but try everything else first. I saw something bizarre delivered to another table and had to try it. It was called a Crostada and was like a Ziti pot pie. The bubbly bread topping over ziti with meat sauce and a few roasted peppers was out of this world. Caution: it is extremely hot, eat slowly. Only 3 desserts on the menu so our group had one of each. The cannolis are stuffed with macadamia and you get 2 so share or take one home. The tiramisu was huge so the same goes for that. The chocolate cake is made with Marsala wine and was very dense and served with caramel ice cream and fudge. I had to waddle home!

This past weekend I had the chance to try BellaBrava. Even though I was hesitant at first because it’s right in the middle of Downtown St. Pete, the place wasn’t too pricey. Each dish costs around less than $ 20 each. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very modern and hip. Edison light bulbs everywhere! In regards to the food, I got the Pasta Brava and it was to DIE for. Since I’m pretty new to the Tampa Bay Area, I would say this is hands down the most authentic Italian place I’ve been to in the Bay Area. The service was IMPECCABLE. I’m pretty sure our waitress stopped by our table at least six different times all in one sitting, which is rare to find nowadays. tl;dr — Go to BellaBrava, you won’t regret it, neither will your stomach.

I really enjoy Bella Brava. The atmosphere is relaxing, the food is good and service is great. This place truly offers something for everyone. We started out with some drinks, red sangria was delightful and my boyfriend loves his local IPAs. Our waitress even recommended a new one to try which he appreciated and enjoyed. We ordered the toasted goat cheese appetizer and it was so good with the sweet marina, goat cheese melted perfectly and the pesto. We even held on to it with the bread we enjoyed it too much. We both ordered a side Caesar and we’re not disappointed. I got the pasta brava which is my favorite there, simple, not over powering on the sauce but enough to enjoy it and taste all the flavors. The mushrooms were perfection. My boyfriend got their famous chicken dish with the Asiago crust and there wasn’t anything left after he enjoyed it. Honestly I have never been disappointed in this place. You can go casual or dressed up and it’s great if you have to take out clients too. One of my downtown St. Pete favorites!

Yeap 3 stars! We went for their 10th anniversary celebration and this review reflects that specific dinner. The restaurant is located on beach drive, very cool street in St Pete. Complementary valet parking available which is awesome, make sure to get it validated from the hostess. For appetizer: we ordered Trattoria Nachos — house made potato chips, gorgonzola & asiago sauce, sausage and sprinkled with basil. Very good, loved the cheese sauce. For entrée: Pasta Brava — penne pasta with grilled chicken, ham, peas, crimini mushrooms in a asiago cream sauce. It was ok, lacked flavor. Needed pepper flakes to jazz up the sauce. Dessert: Tiramisu — not good! I really wished it was better :/ Overall, not the best meal but I am intrigued by the menu. I’ll be back to try some of the more requested entrees.

Their tiramisu is good. Extremely heavy on the coffee. Quite light on the alcohol. A friend and I went here for the first time on another’s recommendation. The tuna carapaccio and lasagne were sub par. My friend’s pasta brava and wedge was very good. The pasta brava was quite undercooked at first, but they took it back without question and replaced it with a fresh plate. We also enjoyed the sangria(both white and red); it wasn’t out of this world, but it was sufficient. The staff was affable and accommodating. Overall decent place, but not a must on a Tampa trip.
