My husband and I enjoyed a great breakfast this morning. He had the artery clogged breakfast and I had the Gyro and feta cheese omelette. Everything was fresh, hot, fast, and wonderful the only dislike is that we both like strong coffee in theirs was a little mild for our taste so we’ll probably go to Starbucks and grab coffee before we eat there again but other than that it was a great breakfast great atmosphere and really enjoyed ourselves.

What a pleasant surprise. We just happened to be driving by and say a small crowd seated at outdoor tables. We figured«Why not try it?». The service was first rate and the food was fantastic! My new favorite place.

Another unassuming gem that I passed by for years, but today as I was walking toward a packed Steak and Shake across the street I had second thoughts. Walked back to the Pinellas Trail pedestrian bridge, crossed and went in. Although the square footage is about the same as a big house, the place will grow on you with gracious hospitality. Friendly waitress tells me to sit at any empty spot, so landed at rear table with panoramic view of Park Street. Menus already at the table along with all condiments, great time saver. What would you like to drink, coffee please. A huge cup appears in seconds. Do you need a minute? Yes please. Never been so let’s observe the menu. Opted for the fish plate at $ 6.95, three breaded fish fillets and tartar sauce plus plenty of fries, cole slaw and two garlic bread slices. Kept me full for several hours. One refill on that huge cup was plenty coffee. Not packed when I arrived early afternoon but coming and going steady. Split wood ceiling for that country barn look. Seats along counter plus tables in center and along windows. Subdued ornaments along wall shelf. Two small TVs useless from rear tables. Outdoor seating. My waitress asked four times if all was well, a new record for outstanding customer service. Will return for breakfast soon.

My family wanted to bring me here because they said it was a delicious«mom and pop» restaurant. I usually love those types of restaurants because of the pride they put into their business. The place is small and it was packed. We found a table and someone was there to take our order in no-time. Our food was brought out very quickly too, which we appreciated. I ordered the«artery clogger» and it was DELISH! I’m not sure if the biscuits are homemade but they certainly taste homemade and oh man, are they devine. The food was fresh and tasty. I don’t normally dine-out for breakfast/brunch but I would be willing to come back here!

Really great place for breakfast! The staff is friendly and even though it’s always packed, I’ve never had to wait long for a table. Definitely a hidden gem!

Talk about a hidden Gem! This place looks like nothing worth stopping for — but you couldn’t be judging a book by its cover any more. The food is extremely fresh, the service was diner-rific, and the price just can’t be beat. I honestly think I’ve found a new favorite weekend spot. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, but do serve the whole menue the entire time. Pour yourself a cup, pull up a chair, and dig in!
