So I’m sitting at a booth for 45 minutes. They forgot I was here because two(4) tops walked in. I had to remind them I was here. This is nice… Check out the bacon. Looks like someone blah blah blah

My wife and I have eaten at this location several times in the past. While we have had no reason to rave about the food or service we had never been overly offended by either in the past. That ALL changed this morning. We went there because I had a $ 5 certificate as a courtesy of my military service(20+ years Air Force veteran). We did not have to wait overly long to be seated, but we did take a rather circular route to our table. We waited a significant amount of time(the place was not too busy) before our waitress arrived and took our orders for drinks — my wife wanted tea with honey and I ordered black coffee and orange juice. We then ordered our breakfast which was to be the senior starter for my wife and the ultimate omelette for me. My wife wanted wheat toast with no butter and I wanted wheat toast with butter. Additionally, I would have grits with mine. Following another long wait(we witnessed two ladies at a table nearby get up and leave because they had never been waited on), we got our drinks — tea, hot water, and honey for my wife and black coffee and water for me. No orange juice. The waitress left our drinks and departed before I had the chance to mention the orange juice to her. No big issue, I thought. I will get it when she brings the meal. The breakfast finally arrived. What a disaster! I did mention the orange juice and received it shortly. However, both of our toasts had butter which the waitress noticed and took one back to correct. The hash browns on my wife’s order turned out to be totally one burnt piece of potato. My omelette was the greasiest piece of food ever witnessed by man or beast. The grits were covered with butter(I really do not want butter in my grits, but never thought to state that I wanted my grits without butter. When my wife got her corrected toast order, she asked for some more napkins(she had used her napkins to «sop» up the grease on her plate. After waiting an additional long period of time, she got up and took napkins from an adjacent table. I took one bite from my omelette and found that it was inedible. I tried the grits and came to the same conclusion. I did drink the orange juice and eat the toast. And I drank the coffee. The rest I pushed aside because I was done with it. The waitress came by and retrieved our plates but never asked about our experience or our satisfaction. Now we waited for our bill. It finally arrived and we went to the cashier. I was awarded the $ 5 certificate and my bill was reduced appropriately for that. I was then asked if I desired to leave a tip. I declined. I mentioned to the cashier that I felt that it was rather interesting that nobody inquired about our satisfaction with the food, service, or anything. I then stated that my food was terrible and the service was just as bad. I was offered the opportunity to speak with a manager, but declined because all I desired was to depart this restaurant as soon as possible and get home where I could make my own DECENT breakfast. I did that shortly thereafter. I would DEFINITELYNOTRECOMMEND this location to anyone that does not have an IRON stomach or the patience of Job.

We have been eating breakfast at Denny’s whenever we travel. So we are in Florida heading to Ft Myers on business and wanted to stop for breakfast. Well it’s Denny’s of course. For starters it seems like all Denny’s have one thing in common, Slow service. This Denny’s didn’t disappoint. As expected, Slow Service. The Food: ordered the«Fit Omelette«. Less than anticipated. Also ordered a side of there specialty potato tots with bacon. The waitress pushed them saying they were delicious. Only problem she put the wrong table number on the order so they came when we were getting ready to leave. Should have expected this. If only we left two minutes earlier we wouldn’t have had to eat them because they were not delicious, not even good. No one to blame but myself. Maybe one day I’ll learn.

Horrible customer service. I was asked if I wanted cheese on my eggs but was not told that it was an extra $ 1.00 charge. Also, the waiter mixed up our orders. Food wasn’t even that good.

The only reason I gave this Denny’s two stars is because it is consistent. Judging from the other reviews, our experience wasn’t unique. If you want a quick, painless experience with mediocre food, skip coming here and go some place else like Wafflehouse or Steak and Shake. There were 8 servers on staff, 5 tables and still nothing got done. Our food took forever, and we had to track down our waitress for the check. Will never ever be going to this location again.

All redone. Looks really nice inside and the food is way improved. And we know it wasn’t just us, the table across the restaurant was raving about everything. We were here when it was dumpy and it’s definitely worth another try if you haven’t been since the remodel.

The friendliest restaurant I have ever been to, I’m not sure if it was jus tour waitress doing all the awesome work and I wish I had her name but she was helping all of the other waitresses out and was soooo nice to everyone. I had the chicken fried steak and it was taking just a bit longer than it should which was no issue to me but she was so apologetic and making sure I was good while I waited. The food was delicious, better than any Denny’s I’ve been to at home in CT. I think this was one the best dining experiences in a chain ever.

Well sometimes at 2:30 in the morning you just sort of get a little bit hungry and naturally it’s hard to find a place to eat… I was impressed at how genuinely happy our server was to be there, serving food… at 2:30 in the morning– and it wasn’t just a put on! Due to his positive personality, I tipped him extra, because that was very impressive.

We got seated at 11:10 am. At 12:00 our waitress, Sam,(who was very nice and attentive) let us know it will probably be another 30 minutes due to them being understaffed. We were fine with waiting an hour+ for our meal, but asked to speak with the manager. The manager(I would mention his name but he didnt introduce himself; older gentleman, had shaggy hair with glasses) came to our table, leaned in and said very nonchalantly«hey, we’re under staffed, the food will get out when it does…*shrug* nothing I can do.» He proceeded to walk away and continue to shrug, not even caring or apologizing about our hour+ wait. We immediately left. We probably would have stayed if it was apparent our patronage actually meant something to the manager. We will NOT be returning to this location.

its dennys so the food is edible/good/usually not fucked up. the inside is probably cleaned once a week etc. if youre shit faced and dont mind waiting for like 45 minutes while you drunkily play with all the shit on the table then go for this cause thats all i ever do it seriously takes 30 mins for them to even get you a damn drink also good for people watching at like 3−5am when weird dudes awkwardly buy the prostitutes grand slams p.p.s there is a wafflehouse down the street on 54th. so if you read this review(and the others cause they look bad too) atleast i have given you a closer option without you re Unilocaling/going too far out of your way

It was extremely busy, and the place is in dispirit need of a remodel. It was very dirty, I am surprised we stayed. Our server was great, cool calm and collected. She was busy but never rushed us. The food was surprisingly good. A classic breakfast with eggs and bacon. Everything was hot and fast. I will go back… after a remodel

Service today was quick! The food was hot and really good. The store is busy on this Memorial Day but service by Jennifer is quick anyways. I recommend this place and will stop by again.

I never waited so long for service. It was almost an insult. Waitress excused herself but honestly the place was not busy, so there was no real reason other than she just was slow. Thanks to the manager who made an adjustment to the bill to compensate for the inconvenience. Food taste good.

This place is disgusting, even for Dennys. Smells like an old gym bag you found from 2 years ago… I’m sitting here waiting to order and as I’m looking out the window I notice the 5 toothpicks laying used in the window sill… Also there is a dust filled a/c intake right above a table with the vent grate missing, not sure why the health inspector or manager for that matter hasn’t noticed it. Server was nice, but not very good at keeping an eye on her table. Sat for nearly 10 minutes waiting for her to smoke a cigarette to get a refill. Food was typical for Dennys, not bad at all but average. Only ate here because I didn’t have time to go elsewhere before an appointment. I won’t be back unless it’s torn down and rebuilt.

Showed up around 11 for brunch, few people there. Walked in and stood in front of empty counter waiting to be greeted, as moments turned to over a minute a guy walking out said they were all on break as he smiled past. Just then a reserved waitress appears and leads me to a booth with a panoramic street view facing west, then hands me two menus. Seconds later a friendly waitress with a charming accent named Rachel appears, tells me what they have to drink. Coffee, please, which was reloaded twice. When she reappears about two minutes later I ask for the senior menu I had seen at another Denny’s, she points out it’s on the last page, silly me. Ordered the breakfast with eggs and cheese, which includes two scrambled eggs with cheese plus four sausage links and two gigantic pancakes. This combo appeared about five minutes later and kept me stuffed for hours. She twice more came by asking if everything was all right, I’m giving her an A+ on customer service. Restroom was clean and well-stocked. Sadly that panoramic street view was marred by dirty and fingerprinted glass inside and out, somebody PLEASE clean it. This was the low point on an otherwise pleasant visit.

Dirty filthy men’s restroom. Toilet full, stopped, smelly. Urinal low water pressure. Multiple flushes didn’t alleviate. The surveillance signs out front give this place a sketchy feel. My main reason for patronizing this place today was because the chain offers free Veterans Day meals. Today isn’t the holiday, but I like to bring business to such places. Hence the only reason for the second star. Waitresses nice enough, employee longevity reportedly high based on listening to other waitresses talk to others. The only male employee, presumably the one to clean the men’s restroom, looked skiddish.

This is consistently one of the top Denny’s I’ve ever been to. Service is usually very good(especially if you have Mark; amazing server) and food is very good too, which is puzzling given the fact that it is a Denny’s. I’ve only had breakfast there, but everything from the bacon, to the eggs, to the French toast and pancakes are excellent. The place is packed weekend mornings, so apparently I’m not the only one with a high opinion. It even has a banquet room for those special occasions!
