My favorite gay bar.
The bartenders are friendly
Everyone in there is super nice
They have drink specials all day
They also have on good music and they have pool tables
We met one of the managers, Tom, extremely nice guy.
It was kind of a sad day because of what went on last weekend in Orlando, but we wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else to remember and come together.

Enigma is my watering hole, as they say. Location is great, right in the Edge District of St. Pete. Love the blue theme inside, the glowing lights, and the upscale feel. During happy hour drink prices arn’t so bad. I wouldn’t consider myself a regular, but I just might know a few people who work there. lol

Enigma is a fun place to go to. Great drinks, decent prices (2 for 1 chips) and for the most part, a friendly staff. The management staff here is the best! Tom and Ben come to mind immediately.
Thankfully they do not allow smoking inside. There is a lot of patio/​sidewalk seating outside for smokers. An open window with seating allows inside bartenders to serve outside smokers.
They do not serve food here but they do allow patrons to bring food from the many local restaurants surrounding them to the bar so you can have a meal with your drink if you choose to.
They have pool tables if you want a game of pool.
I’m not a big fan of karaōke and they do have a karaōke night here (forget which night). I unfortunately have seen this bar very busy and then as soon as the karaōke starts, a mass exodus of people. Maybe karaōke should be reconsidered??? Just my opinion.
All in all a great bar! Go!!! Check it out!!!

Update — really enjoy the atmosphere and Jeremy (sp?) had been very friendly. Sound system and music good — Great drinks 2×1 With a chip –and crowd during happy hour 7−9pm. Very glad i came back.

I’m a straight gal whom enjoys this place from time to time because it’s nice to go dancing/​karaoking with your friends and not get hit on a 1,000 times. The place is clean and the people are friendly. The drink prices are reasonable. Their drink selection is very basic and not exciting but the service is really good.

This is one of my favorite bars for happy hour. And the cool thing about their happy hour is that it occurs EVERY day from noon until 9PM with two for one. The bartenders are great. The drinks are awesome. The other cool thing is it is close to Tropicana Field, so worth a stop before the game. Yes, I am a regular for a reason.

I really don’t understand how this bar stays in business because it is dead the majority of the time. It’s really sad too because it has the potential of being really cool and is a great space in a great location. They seem like they’re trying to be another Georgie’s…but on a lowered expectations scale. They really need to branch out and try something new. What about an 80’s night or disco night? Something fun instead of the drag shows and boring music. Just being honest.

It’s one of those places that you go in and everything is just okay. Great location, nice space with very high sealing, and decent staff but somehow its lacking something. Out of the ten or so times I’ve been there, only once did it have a good vibe for me. Maybe the space is just too big and it never feels like it’s happening.

I’ve been here about four times. The location is great. Lots of eateries and other bars around. Close to downtown. The outside seating is a nice feature. One of the bartenders seems odd… sort of uncomfortabe /​nervous both times we’ve seen him… otherwise everyone else seemed friendly. Nice alternative to Georgie’s.

I’ll admit I was drawn to this place like a mosquito to a fly trap. I could see the bright lights and hear the music from across the way while at Green Bench, so curiosity drove me towards it. Once in, I realized it was a gay bar.
This bar has outdoor tables as well as indoor seating. There are pool tables, and there’s a decent-​sized dance floor.
Overall, this is a fun place, and I can’t believe how clean everything still was at midnight on a Friday.

Very cool new gay bar! We’ve gone several times now, and the staff is always excellent and we really like the environment. I like having the outside to get away from loud music once in a while, but still feel like you’re in the bar.

Love this bar! Very clean inside — no smoking. Drinks are decently priced and not too strong or weak. There are darts and pool tables. Saw a small dance floor too.

This club/​bar is clean and staffed with friendly bartenders. The problem is that it’s too small. There isn’t enough space to socialize. One if the pool tables should be replaced with seating for people or some kind of space to socialize. Most of the customers had to stand in the street. The problem is the DJ. Most of the music seemed dated. Love the staff, just not the bar.
