Southside Family Dollar. Everything you can expect from a new Family Dollar except this one is a lot smaller AND it’s in a not-so-great-area. As I walked in I saw that the aisles were very tight and the store was just crammed full of items to the point where I could barely find the registers. I noticed a basic selection of just about all categories of merchandise but watch what you buy. Most items are priced lower because the quantity is smaller or the quality is just very inferior. Also, the store had quite a few people in it who didn’t seem to be shopping — more like standing around socializing. Lastly, the employees seem lethargic and less interested in taking my money than the homeless man in the parking lot.
