i own a mac book pro with the keyboard that lights up and it broke. apple wanted $ 350 to do it and this people did it for under $ 200. and gave me a great smile work with me and didn’t make me feel dumb. when i walk in there i thought it was going to be like best buys that they give you an attitude and don’t care, well when i walk in pinellas computers they greet me with a smile and told me on front my estimate and they were right on the money and my laptop still working great. thanks pinellas team

I brought in my laptop, which was booting up backwards(!) and which my computer engineer brother and dad couldn’t figure out. The guys in the store were very nice and took a look at my computer, gave their free diagnostic(I forget how long it took to figure out what was wrong — no more than two days) and then accurately quoted me on how much repairs would be. It was an easy and painless process. Would definitely recommend them! So much easier to use my laptop now that it’s not backwards. ;)

Man, I feel bad when I have a mediocre experience at a local business, but I recently had a mediocre experience here. So, we know what the issue with the laptop is. We know what part it needs because fiddling with the power cord tells us the DC jack either needs to be re-soldered or replaced. We walked in around 2p.m. and left it overnight for diagnostics to run. We were told we should receive a call around the same time the following day with an update. We opted out of the software one because it’s an obvious issue, but the guy kept saying that could be the problem. He said he would skip that part of their testing after some insistence. So the following day rolls around — no update by midday, called to hear they haven’t done anything with it yet, and after some discussion we decided to just drop in and go pick the thing up because it felt like a waste of time. We showed up about an hour before they close, and they had only just started on the hardware scan a little before we arrived… And they still haven’t done the software one. Which we opted out of the day before. Guess that 24 hour estimate before should be 48. So, we left the laptop there and said we would pick it up the following day after all their testing, and about 15 minutes later I received a phone call saying the manager was willing to make an exception to the protocol of requiring all these free(but time-consuming) diagnostics. We could have the one part changed out, and if it didn’t fix our problem, we would be SOL. How much would it be? About $ 90 for the labor and $ 40 for the part. I turned the car around, went back, and picked the laptop back up. I just spent some time helping tear apart this beat up machine to check the part, and picked one up on eBay for a whole $ 13. I guess that’s what one would expect from a place that advertises virus removal for $ 59. Maybe it’s a solid winner for old people who have no idea what to do when they have a problem.

I was very pleased with Pinellas computers. All those working in the Tyrone store were friendly and knowledgeable. There were a few glitches with my computer but they always took the time to listen to me and to work it out. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again if the need arises.

Just gor our new computer from Pinellas Computers of Tyrone. Can’t say enough about the service, the support, customer service. Afetr some research found that they have such a great team working there. It was so smooth a transfer of data etc I would never go anywhere else. Personal service is key. You go guys, you are the BEST!!!
