I have been wanting to write this review for a long time. I read the only other review on this company just now and had the same problem. I had the employee come out to give an estimate for a new opener as well due to the existing one not being able to be replaced. I researched brands and thought maybe my dad and I could do it. But, just to see, the employee came out to give an estimate which was ridiculous. It was around $ 300 plus labor I believe.
I decided not to use them and the employee said I have to pay an estimate fee of $ 40. I was so mad, but I felt I had to pay due to the pressure. I used this company once before to change out the tensioner springs and had no problems with the employee or cost, it seemed to be fair. After this incident, I will NEVER use them again and I advise you to do the same, seems BANKO has good reviews. I will look into them if needed in the future. Too bad I can’t rate ZERO STARS.
The unit was replaced by me and my dad, not as difficult as I thought it would be.

I had them come to give a me a free quote on a garage door opener.
He gave me a quote for the most expensive.
I told him I knew the opener I wanted but he said that they did not sell them. Strange.
When he left he said it would cost me $ 30.00.
I warned him not to bill me.
I find this unprofessional
