So good! I had the biscuits and gravy and they were delicious. Husband had french toast and loved it. We will be back!

Best Biscuits and Gravy in town! The Country Benny is another favorite. Plus the fancy doughnuts they have on the weekends… One of these days we’ll actually come for lunch, but the breakfast is a definite reason to go! A bit noisy inside, and the parking lot is small and generally crowded if you wait until other people are awake. Definitely not a coffee shop, so if you need your specialty coffee to live, handle that elsewhere; it’s a diner and has diner coffee.

By far best diner in St. Pete. I have never had a bad meal and I have had most everything on the menu. These owners really care about what they serve their clients. I recommend them all the time.

Very casual, locals breakfast with the friendliest people in town. Everything we’ve had here is great. Just a note that they serve home fry potatoes instead of hash browns, but it’s because of the limited space in the kitchen.

Came here with a Groupon, not sure if it’s still running, but if it is, everyone should buy one. This place was absolutely delicious. Definitely in the top 5 best Benny’s I have ever eaten in Florida. Loved every bite. The French toast was equally as awesome. Perfectly dipped, not too eggy. Loved the fresh cut potatoes. Everything was beautifully presented which always puts my meal for me, over the top. I love to eat with the eyes first. It just makes the food more enjoyable to eat. Nobody likes slop on a plate. Wow, where has this place been all my life? Really cute and simple inside. Not so much diner like. I loved how the locals entered and greeted, and were greeted out loud with a Hello from all the servers as they walked up to the bar counter, it really just seems like a great locally owned friendly restaurant. Service was also friendly and efficient. I will definitely be back.

The food is average. Service is average and it is extremely loud. This is not a 4 or 5 star place. The price is cheap and it is decent

Its a great thing when the Unilocal hype is on point! Had the biscuits n gravy and added 2 eggs for $ 1, good deal. Biscuits were as advertised, fresh, flaky and full of flavor, and I consider myself a expert! Gravy was right there also. Eggs were Fluffy and well done, home fries did need a lil more flavor(onions as stated on another review) Can’t wait to come back to sample more dishes! Oh yea– solid coffee and service too!!!

Best oatmeal ever. Cool place. Tasty sausage. Highly recommend for breakfast. We went at 8:20 on a Sunday with no wait!

Breakfast was pretty good The biscuits and gravy and the home fries were delicious! The servers were also all friendly This isn’t a large place, so know there could be a wait, and only breakfast is served on Sundays

Got the chorizo hash. It was the special of the week so I guess that’s not super helpful in a review, but it was delicious. Watching how the mocha was made — just pot coffee and what appeared to be Swiss Miss — did not give me much hope for it. But it was oddly delicious. There’s something really charming about this place. I’ll be back.

This is my favourite place for brunch! Very convenient for when I get out of class– very hungry– at around noon. It’s also a Ma and Pa restaurant, which is always a plus for me. The shop is very bright and makes you feel like a 70’s dinner with the decorations and table booths. I usually switch between the Country Benny and the Classic Benny. both very good and favorable and fills me up very well(keep in mind that I can eat!!) Great prices, great foods, great servings– but service can be cold sometimes.

Great food with good prices. Had breakfast here and service was wonderful. Gave us plenty of options for the whole family. Waiter was more than helpful even though the place was really busy. This placed surpassed my expectations and I plan on visiting this place again.

Awesome place! Was looking for a good breakfast place in the area and we found it. Its got the perfect diner feel and the staff are awesome. Spacious environment and very clean. The menu has everything you could ask for regarding a breakfast joint. Its a bit out of the way from downtown St. Pete, but it’s worth the drive. The scrambles are awesome and filling. Really just go and get breakfast there… it’s worth your time!

I’m in love with Rae Rae’s! Delicious, fluffy pancakes(I’m a connoisseur of the genre)…superb biscuits and sausage gravy — and hands down the best home fries I’ve ever had. The bacon was the only disappointment, but I find that most places can’t manage to deliver an above-average bacon. It was flat-pressed and extremely hard(but not un-flavorful). Three of the pieces were fused into a Unholy Trinity of a piece(which crumbled into a shower of dry ‘baconfetti’ when I bit into it). It was a generous side though! It’s a small place, so be prepared to wait during peak hours… but as mentioned by others, it’s worth the wait.

The place was busy and it was about to close in 30minutes. I felt like they were rushing and brought out a separate dish from what my cousin ordered. We needed to get somewhere after brunch and so he ate it anyways. I got the biscuit gravy with the two pouched eggs. It had sausage and bacon. I felt adding the bacon made it more salty but I guess that’s breakfast meat for us. My cousin liked her eggs Benedict. I’ll try it next time. Hope they make better ice coffee.

This place was awesome. So glad I found it on Unilocal and soo glad we went there. The server was super friendly and kept my coffee and water full. They were slammed for sunday breakfast so the food took a little time but it was worth the wait and totally understandable. Her egg white omelet was great. It was loaded with spinach and mushrooms which were super tasty and not just mush. It had feta cheese, and w both agreed they didnt over-cheese it like most places. My ‘have it all’ was awesome and an incredible deal for $ 6.75. The bacon and homefries came out hot and were crispy and tasty. The eggs were nicely cooked. The pancake was thick and AWESOME. The french toast was also impressive. Next time i’ll just get pancakes I think. Great people, Great food… I’ll be back!!!

Love this place! I don’t know how long they’ve been open but I had Rae Raes bookmarked in Unilocal. A group of friends and went today and it was delish. We must have showed up at the right time because soon after they were packed and people were waiting for a table. Small place but very cute, they have tables, booths and a counter to eat at. It’s nothing fancy but comfortable . The service was good, the food came out within a good time frame, it was hot and very good. As you might be able to tell, I’m pretty excited about the restaurant. I like to find a good solid place for breakfast. Good food and the prices were reasonable, which is important . We ordered biscuits, sausage gravy and eggs, pancakes and eggs, an omelet, and their hash of the day, which was sweet potato hash with carmalized onions, bacon and ham served with eggs and a biscuit. The hash was flavorful, cooked perfectly and with my sunny side egg it added a creaminess to it. The pancakes were homemade and were both light and fluffy. I’m not a fan of pancakes but I would order these because they were really light and had good flavor. Lastly the sausage gravy was very flavorful with a little kick. .yummm. We will be back :-)

We went and checked this place out based on Unilocal reviews. We were not disappointed. Everything was really fresh and the monthly has was tasty and interesting with sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes. I had the club sandwich which was huge and very well built as far as not too much bread to fixings.

The food and service was absolutely impeccable at this little hipster hole in the wall. It was a combination of a diner and a fancy breakfast restaurant. Sweet tea is made to order, with homemade simple syrup incorporated into every glass. The only downfall I experienced was the long wait time, but when my food came out, it was so good that it was worth the wait.

Awesome breakfast place with a huge variety of items. Coke fountain soda. Fresh hot coffee. Huge roomy booths, clean, and quick! There’s a bar for those who wish to eat at a «diner» setting. Our party ordered oatmeal with fresh fruit– fabulous! Served with heavy whipping cream, raisins, and brown sugar. Eggs, bacon, grits and toast– grits were prefect! Huge portion of bacon and a scrambled egg. Create your own omelette. Picked cheese, bacon and avocado, home fries, toast and fresh fruit. Everything was prefect and full of flavor!!! Loved the idea of adding avocado to my eggs. The server was friendly and attentive to our table. She brought a kids cup with a lid, crayons and a coloring book for my daughter. I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant and look forward to dining again very soon!
