Ruby Tuesday

I went in to wait on a busy night. My boyfriend and i weren’t impressed by the 10 minute wait. We came for the garden bar. No croutons the whole time we sat down to eat. I ordered the salmon and it was beyond overcooked. Will not be coming back. The manager was not helpful at all. Did not discount the meal at all. And the bathrooms were disgusting. The floors in the womans restroom are yellow. Don’t bother at this location.

Should make known what is on salad bar as it gets changed… pics made current or list made available… main reason to eat there for me.

I love Ruby Tuesdays. However, the Ruby Tuesdays in Tyrone mall is horrible. I went here a few weeks ago. I should have turned around once I was hit the horrible scent in the restaurant (honestly kind of a urine smell) but I was so hungry I still decided to eat here (my mistake) but every Ruby Tuesday I have ever went to was delicious. I ordered a chicken Alfredo pasta as I usually do at every Ruby Tuesday I go to. When my food arrived the chicken was very tough and there wasn’t much sauce. The waitress heard me commenting to my boyfriend about how awful the chicken was and insisted on bringing me a new plate. When I received my new plate there was a long black curly hair on my chicken. I freaked out to the waitress which is totally unlike me and stormed out the restaurant. Needless to say, I ate at the food court that day and I will not return to this particular Ruby Tuesdays. Later that week, I was talking to my father about the hair that was in my chicken and he replies «I haven’t ate there in years it always smells like urine»!

This is an update on my old review. Wanna give this place a second chance This time everything was perfect. Took the Thai phoon shrimps as appetizer and the smokehouse burger. The shrimps were spicy but not to much and very good. The burger was cooked to perfection. Fries and onion ring were crispy. My waitress was Hope F. and she was very pleasant as it should be for a waiter. Very quick and professional. Got my appetizer very quickly. When finished my appetizer my burger was there in the next 5 minutes the whole visit was less than 30 minutes. Will definitely come back.

Come here because I had a coupon. Ordered a petite sirloin steak and shrimps with French fries and onion rings. Waited 30 min to get my meal and it was not too crowded. Finally when I get my meal the fries were missing and my medium steak was cooked thru and thru I complained about it and how wonder got my fries and steak 1 min later. But honestly the steak wasn’t great. Very disappointed overall. Had to go to the counter to ask for my waiter after 10 minutes waiting to get my check. Was in here for an hour Two stars after all because feeling bad to give one star.

I’ve seen time and again that the quality and service at certain chain restaurants depends on the management and staff, and not just the name of the place. We’ve been to excellent Outback, Macaroni Grill and Cracker Barrel locations, and have been wholly disappointed at other locations within their chain. The same goes for Ruby Tuesday: some are really good, and some just don’t cut it. This location is a hit.
About ten of us met for a lunch on a busy Sunday afternoon, and it was an excellent experience. The place is very clean and bright, the service was just great, and the food was exceptionally good.
Our Server, Ashten, treated us like we were the only table in the place, in spite of her juggling a very busy section. She was bright, personable, attentive and did a super job making sure everyone received première service. We all had normal lunch fare of salads, burgers, and other entrees, and everyone liked what they had. My Bacon Cheeseburger was fresh, big and tasted great.
This is the third time we’ve been at this location, and they have proven they work to make sure customers enjoy themselves and will return often. Very nice job!

This review is to commend an employee for exceptional service. Thank you Gabriel for caring about and serving your customers. The other employees in this Ruby Tuesdays could learn a lesson from you! Our simple request was denied by four others before our encounter with you.

Waited outside for 15 minutes to get service. Finally had to ask. Food was good and server made up for delay w her sweet disposition.
Overall ok, but not super impressed

We were seated in the bar next to some woman who had a bit too much to drink. Everyone could hear all her conversations — she was very loud. Not the best area to be sat for dinner. Restaurant was not really that busy. We should have asked to be reseated but we didn’t.
Took a while before the waitress showed up at our table. We were about to get up and leave. She finally showed up to tell us she would be back in a few minutes — this is about 10 minutes after seating.
I used to go to RT for the salad bar. Slim pickings on the bar now. Lettuce looked like it had just been swept up off the floor. Not a lot of variety at all. Spouse ordered an appetizer only. Not sure what they did but everything that was fried on the plate tasted like it was dipped in cleaning fluid. It all had a nasty bitter taste. Not rancid or burnt, but a chemical bitter taste. Was inedible.
We thought the waitress might have been a little busy as she was not very attentive then we realized that her family was there and all her attention was given to them. Drinks were empty, used plates still on table, had to ask for the check to get out of there.
I used to like RT. It certainly has gone downhill. It only takes one bad experience for patrons to not come back. Bad service and inedible food. Doesn’t the management taste anything coming out of the kitchen anymore? I seriously think someone put cleaning fluid in the fryer — there is no way the food could have tasted like that if they didn’t.
This was some of the worst food we have ever encountered in the area.

Went to Ruby Tuesdays last. It was fine. The food is always the same anywhere you go and is as expected so I’m only reporting on the service at the Tyrone Mall restaurant. Our waiter was having a bad day, he said so himself. Fortunately, we didn’t have a complicated order. Everything was delivered in a short time. I assured him he was doing great but I couldn’t get him to smile or relax. I don’t mind taking care of wait staff, but it would have been nice to have him reciprocate the kindness and care, even fake a smile mister. Left a 30% tip anyway. Poor guy, he should find a new line of work.

Food is great, fresh, healthy options. Service was fast. They have a fresh salad bar and a full liquor bar too :) it’s located in Tyrone Square mall, however it also has outdoor seating.

We use to eat at Ruby Tuesday at Tyrone Blvd and few times we ate there we have a terrible time the waiter was rude and service was terrible will never eat there again

Can’t go wrong with Ruby Tuesdays. We love their salad bar. My daughter had the slider burgers and fries and I had a cheeseburger with fries. Our service was great and we didn’t have to wait for a table.

Two stars is for the fast service and the salad bar.
I’ve been coming to RT for my whole life and have always loved it. The salad bar, the typically friendly service, the convenience of the location, and a generally well-​rounded and affordable menu. When my friend and I came for lunch today, I struggled to find something appealing on the menu. I typically got their veggie burger and fries, but it is no longer on the menu. I decided to get the fish tacos with the garden bar.
It’s not that the tacos were bad; they just left something to be desired. The service did as well. The waitress seemed as uninterested in being there as we were in the food.
It’s a bummer, RT, because I’ve always loved you. I’m afraid I won’t be back for a long time.

Food was not that great. The bacon cheese burger was not cooked correctly and the roll was stale.
salad bar has slim pickings, we asked for my daughters food 1^st and got it last, after ours.
I will not be going to this restaurant again!

The only reason why I gave it two stars is the service was fast. But it was a slow Sunday afternoon. Our appetizer plates had a greasy film on both plates. When I opened the silver wear there was crusted food on all four forks! One is a simple mistake but all four is ridiculous! The whole restaurant is filthy. Floor and carpet needed vacuumed. It did not smell clean and it was hot throughout the entire restaurant. One of the chefs walked right by us holding a bicycle wheel… The food was okay, however I will never eat there again. GROSS

The area is not a very nice area. It took forever for the waiter to come and take our order. He came to the table 30 before he actually took our order and then the food was cold.

Newer menu in recent years is an interesting change. Burgers here are always a great choice. I always get the salad bar. So great! Love the variety. And everything is always so fresh. New fruit teas are all very refreshing. Mango and Blackberry were tonight’s choices. Yum yum! Our server was awesome. Great sense of humor and very accommodating.

This has been the worse experience there, a friend of mine had a gift card we had lunch there, the measely little meal for 7.99 it was not worth the price. the staff was too busy taking other orders since I am a Food Critic being PAID to make remarks and going to dinners and finding the exceptional places to eat this is NOT one of them.
The staff was running rapid to please everyone, the seats were so crammed in and not comfortable. There were too many strollers and wheel chairs, this place needs to make an overhaul on its dining, maybe open it up from the outside in… there is enough room there, but i guess they are too cheap to do this, the striving mall of over 35 years needs to be revampped to new ideas… I had to ask the server to send me more little bread balls, she came back and only put down 2, what is this only two?
If I am going to pay for an order I want at least 6 piece whats with the only 2 pieces.
this place is not as good as applebees or other chain resturants. I prefer to go to another place than this one, eeks… this is not a good place they do not have good prices…
who can afford to pay 9.99 for salad come on… salad does not cost that much??? pay yoru servers decent wages and they will become nicer… the one i had rolled her eyes when a family came in with three small children another group she said… well if this is not for you then leave. go to panera bread or bed and body works… where they make a set salary… this place was the pits… never again… it used to be good in 1981 but not now. do not go… lousy food and high prices. staff disgusting too.
she never came back to our table, or asked us for anything else…

We got a gift card here for christmas so we decided to come here one weeknight for dinner a couple weeks ago. We got there and within minutes the fire alarm went off, and apparently this had not been the first time because they just hit a button and turned it off within seconds. Meanwhile the alarm in the mall continued to buzz for at least 15 minutes, followed by the fire department showing up and the lights flashing through the windows into the restaurant for another 10 – 15 minutes. Super annoying but non the less part of the experience.
Brandon was all exited to come here because of the salad bar, which he says is the whole reason you come to Ruby Tuesday. He was very disappointed when he found out that the garbonza (chick peas) had been removed from the salad bar, there was also another lady there who was upset as well. He was thinking that if you have something that people always come for and that’s what they talk about is the salad bar than why would you mess with it and take away toppings that obviously people like…
I ordered the Carolina salad i believe it was called, but i forgot to ask for just spinach and ended up with regular lettuce which isn’t the greatest in my opinion. The chicken was good though and the salad is quite large.
Overall the food was okay, even though the salad bar was lacking a few items, we would return.

I’ve been here twice and had perfect service both times. It’s a generic chain, but I’ll be damned — their burgers are REALLY good.
I got the «triple prime» burger, and it was perfectly cooked and delish with a quality bun. Not gigantic either, perfectly sized. Comes with two sides as well!
Also, the little free biscuits they give you (similar to Red Lobster) are awesome.
Not a big chain eater, but my girlfriend loves the salad bar… and with burgers this good — I’m not going to put up too big a fight.
