Sacred Borders Thrift Store

Dirty, dusty, dark and dingy — this isn’t the most comfortable thrift shop to visit. Everything felt extremely cramped, and it was very difficult to navigate what little they had in the way of aisles. In addition, the clientele was more on the lower end; while I was there, one bearded and unkempt gentleman proudly brandished a very realistic fake gun for everyone’s admiration. Everyone else kept talking about being ill; a couple of customers appeared to have prison tattoos. The floors were filthy, and I had to thoroughly wash my hands after leaving.
However, they actually seemed to have a better than average selection of (obviously used) power tools and electronic doodads, as well as some video games — no clothing or decent books, vinyl or anything else I personally look for. Someone specifically looking for tools might find it worth a visit, but I won’t return. It has a scary looking– but very polite– proprietor. If you go, try to look homeless or dangerous to fit in.
