I am so sad to say that after today I will be looking for a new pediatric office for my children. I am a huge fan of Dr. Moore however the other Doctors give the office a bad name. Apparently a last minute scheduling for a sick child visit was too close to lunch for my child to get the care she needed and deserved. I am beyond angry and will be heading to the emergency room to get the care she needs. Disgusted and disappointed !

I will only take my children to the Tyrone office because the MLK office staff is steeped in misery. You aren’t going to find doctors at this practice with knowledge about holistic care, traditional medicine or nutrition. I’ve tried several pediatricians in the St. Pete area and the bar is atrociously low. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news folks. Don’t expect a return call from the nurse line. Dr. Kim is kind and she tolerates my asking questions and giving my two cents. I avoid all the other doctors at this practice.

Some Dr’s are more friendly and less snobby than others. Depends on which location you go to. The receptionists for both St. Petersburg & Seminole’s locations are the rudest, must unpleasant people I’ve had to dealt with. Working in such a place with the kind of attitude they carry is absurd, they just need to go back to elementary school and learn some manners. Never again will I return after my latest experience with the receptionist at the St. Pete’s location, she was such a witch– I took my child and left before she receive her check-​up (yearly check-​up)!

I am not pleased to write this review — but I believe it’s important to other parents. While scheduling appointments is easy, the doctors are competent and the staff is pleasant, Dr. Nelson fails with his bedside manner. Recently, my 8 month old had a fever of 104, so they told me to bring her in. From the start, Dr. Nelson was curt and abrupt. He even seemed uncomfortable during her exam. He held her forehead like she was a puppy and was far too aggressive. She gagged and vomited (a lot) when he checked her throat — and he bolted. He called in the nurses to «clean it up» while I had to chase him down asking if there was anything I should be concerned about. Over his shoulder, he said, «48−72 hours, it’s a virus». Very disappointing experience, unexpected and unacceptable. If you do choose this office, ensure that your appointments are with one of the other docs.

I love dr Moore and he is the reason I give this my ratings I would do 5 but removed one due to the fact that not crazy about filling out the same information every office visit and I honestly think this should be changed, but I tell you this is follow dr Moore to the end if I could, our kids love him and he goes into so much detail with is, thank you dr Moore

This is the worst doctor’s office ever. I have never met anyone as unorganized and irresponsible as they are. First, they never return my calls. If i’m calling regarding my daughter’s health, I’d like to have a prompt response. Nothing. not even a call back! Second, they are everywhere with their paperwork. Has us sign in on their electronic device EVERY TIME for 15 minutes when we are there. The funny thing is, you’d think they would have our information in their system with repetitive paperwork… no… they are always missing some info with our insurance, etc. Third, this office does not take responsibility for their mistakes. Customers are always right and if we need help and answers, help us (like calling back). They messed up our insurance paperwork and blamed us for not inputting it in their system (which we did a dozen times since they had us do so every time we went in). At last, their doctors are very generic about everything. They don’t say anything useful but they can talk your ear off about things I have already read in books! Or things that is not even related to what my question was. I ask a question and they don’t seem to know the exact answers… *baffled* Being doctors, especially pediatricians, should give parents advice (especially new parents) and relieve parents of any concerns and anxiety with their new born infants. Personally, I like doctors that can give me advice and maybe share their own experiences. These doctors did not do anything for me (DIDN’T CALL ME BACK!) And I understand if they need to see a new born the first time after they are out of the hospital, and then when it is time for their first shots, but they kept wanting us to go into the office to weigh her and «look» at her. Another word for «I just want to keep charging you co pays». I don’t understand why they kept scheduling multiple appointments with us when they can take care of something in one appointment. They just want more money! This office is very upsetting, we ended up leaving this place and found a much better pediatrician for our daughter. These doctors here are definitely over paid for what they do, some of them are so old I don’t even think they are up to date. The whole place looked kind of run down as well. I strongly do not recommend this place to any parents who love their children dearly.
