Tropiccool

Great ice cream, cool flavors, and cool music. The only problem were the prices! Talk about 5 bucks for about 6 oz of ice cream… If that’s normal I guess that’s fine… Really excellent gelato quality ice cream though :)

One of the stand out trucks at the Generation Food Truck festival I went to yesterday. I actually planned on skipping sweets but I was lured by the salted caramel gelato pop. «It’s dipped in chocolate, is that okay?» the guy running the truck asked me. It’s *more* than okay. I’m a gelato fiend and this was seriously some of the best I’ve had. Just the right amount of sweetness without being over the top, and the chocolate perfectly complemented the salted caramel flavor. My husband had the coconut chip and was just as pleased.
Also, the double decker bus also really stood out among all the other food trucks, they have really cute little tables set up on top, with umbrellas for shade. Can’t wait to go to their standalone shop and try their delicious sorbet and gelato, the truck only had pops yesterday. Still, the Yogurtology truck next to them didn’t stand a chance in comparison.

Quite possibly the coolest (ha!) food truck ever! Complete genius to have an eye catching retro truck with built-​in seating deck.
We had the salted caramel and French vanilla pecan, rich ice cream and chocolate but still felt light and refreshing.
At a rally with dozens of trucks, Tropiccool really stood out as a unique overall experience.

Tropiccool is my new favorite gelato spot. The flavor combinations are some of the most unique and delicious you will ever find. You can always ask to try some of the gelato. With espresso capabilities your dining experience is NOT lacking. The popsicles are every bit as delicious as the gelato. The place is kept very clean and the staff is over the top nice. I have been back several times to try something new. Every time I have always been so unbelievably happy. This is a must try!

Tropiccool is one of the most unique food trucks I’ve ever seen. It is a double-​decker bus fresh off the streets of London that offers gourmet sorbet popsicles — deliciously amazing gourmet sorbet popsicles I might add. My favorites include the blueberry lemon and the dark chocolate dipped raspberry. That’s right — a raspberry popsicle dipped in dark chocolate and then frozen. Can you say Heaven? They use only fresh, all natural fruit which makes every visit new and exciting! All it takes is one visit and trust me, you’ll be hooked.
