A friendly, safe ride who charged what seems like a reasonable fare ($ 40 from Brunswick airport to St. Simons). On time to pick up, too.

$ 5 per person…$ 25 to go 1 mile, ONE MILE!!! Rediculous. And the cab driver was extremely rude. If I could give zero stars I would.

I wish I could choose zero stars. He said it would be 15 to 20 mins. 45 mins later we called and he said it would be 5 mins. 15 mins later he arrived without apology. Then once we were to our destination about 3 miles and 20 $ later… With no tip!!! My husband commented to just tell the truth about being on time. The taxi guy said he was stuck in traffic. Plzzzzzzz! We were just in the taxi with him… NO traffic! I can deal wiih miscalculations, but not lies.

I used these guys twice on a trip to St Simons, with two very different experiences. Pick up was the daughter of the owner, friendly, efficient, picked us up when she said she would. A+
Return trip was with the owner. Not friendly, and half way through the trip, he mumbled something about making a quick stop, and proceeds to pick up another fare (who turned out to be a slightly racist redneck). We told the driver we weren’t okay with having another person in the car, but he didn’t care. Pretty poor service. He probably didn’t realize that I visit the island frequently.
I might use them again, but would specify the driver next time.

We used this taxi service twice last weekend (Friday and Saturday) nights. Everyone told us that drinking and driving was not advisable on the island (um… yeah… as if that were a consideration?) We paid $ 10 to travel from the Best Western on Main Street to the Pier area and then the following night to from the BW to Redfern Village. Hmm. not sure how the rates were calculated as these are two different distances — but anyway — people were pretty nice, we got there safe and sound — and hardly a wait time. Would use them again (or better yet) — stay closer to the nightlife or at a place with a shuttle.
