Only go here if you want to be treated like crap! They also have no working restrooms. The cashier ABDUEL has by far the worst customer service skills on the face of this earth.(He also has no name tag. He just referred me to the number on the door. He gave me his name after I had to return with my US passport b/c they do not accept valid US military ID’s). I took my 5&7yr old boys here to get a snack since we were staying at the hotel. Walked in, wasn’t greeted… okay fine. Whatever. 2 minutes into the adventure one of the kids suddenly had to use the restroom. When he ran to the doors the man yelled, 1. «Get away! Boys restroom broken!» Which freaked my kid out and pissed me off. I told my son to use the women’s and the man yelled again, «All bathrooms broken, go to your own home.»(Note: we have no home at the moment so telling him this literately made him cry since we just left all his friends he made for the last 4yrs… Plus he was about to crap his pants. Good one you jerk!) 2. Then I tried to get a slurpee real fast and the machine had one light on for one of he flavors… so I assumed the other machine worked that didn’t have a light on. Nope! The slurpee police came yelling, «you can’t use! The light… can you see?» So silly me pointed to the light bulbs that were clearly not lit and he replied with some snotty comment, so I just figure I say nothing, drop the issue, and walked away while listing to him running his mouth behind my back. We literally just got back the day before after being off the mainland for nearly 4yrs. I didn’t have my US drivers license & he refused to take my military ID for me to buy alcohol. 3. Ok… fine«policy». So I ask to see it. He then replied, «it’s Virginia 7-eleven policy». So I got the snacks for the kids. 3 strikes buddy, and I let him know I heard him yell at my 7yr old and heard exactly what he said and I didn’t appreciate his attitude at the slurpee machine. Told him to be more professional and he began yelling and LYING and when my 7yr old said, «you told me to go home.» He quickly had nothing else to say in front of another customer. I came back with my passport after taking the kids back«home». Told me to wait before I got the alcohol because I had only 5 mins. I grabbed it anyway and took it to the counter and he let me know it was only 3 more minutes. I had to ask him to come to the counter and ring me up. My receipt said 11:56, after he strolled over and carefully/slowly inspected my passport and was still running his mouth under his breath! Then he tried not giving me my receipt even after I asked once he had to argue that he gave it to me when it was clearly in his freaking hand. Great facility, clean, good variety of products, and all flushed down the«non-working» toilets because of crappy customer service.

UPDATE to below review: I got a call from a representative of 7 – 11 at ONEFORTYEIGHTAM(1:48AM) to give me a ticket number… are they crazy! I asked why she was calling that late, she said she worked off hours or something. REALLY. So, calling at 2am is productive? To give me a ticket number. Doh! Think about why we go to 7 – 11. Is it for the best food in town? Is it for the best products to be had? No we go for the convenience; get in-get ou, no hassle, on the road again. Umm… No hassle, Not so with this particular 7 – 11. This was due to the rude treatment by one of its employees. I was thirsty and particularly wanted to stop at this 7 – 11, as it was new and I liked it it the last visit. What a mistake! I entered and was not greeted; cool, who cares. However, as I was checking out the drinks, I noticed one was knocked over behind another(I may have accidentally done it), so I tried sitting it back upright. From the front of the store rudely yells this employee ‘not to do that, all the drinks are the same. You are going to make them all fall,’ or something like that. I tried to explain, but he kept popping off at the mouth, and that in front of another customer. When I came to the counter, I told him what I was trying to do and he mentioned that I should let him do that. I said something like he needs to have the facts straight before he just starts running his mouth and that he should be a little more respectful. He said he’s respectful to everyone and that he saw my hands go back there more than once. Question: why was I being watched so closely? Was I some infamous bottle tipper? I decided not to purchase from here and left. I called there customer service number on the window of the store to alert of this lack of service. After I mentioned that I didn’t see(or he didn’t have) a name tag, the questions I was asked had were a little silly. Things like: What did he look like? How tall is he? How old? Uhhhh? I don’t suspect a change, but it feels good alerting of a potential problem. Will I go back to 7 – 11, of course. This one, don’t hold your breath. FINEWORD: NOPEBUDDY

This is my gas station of choice. Even if there is crazy traffic on rte 1 and I’m on the fasmart side, I dare to make that left turn into 7Eleven. The young guys who work here are hilarious, the morning people are very nice. All of the staff makes you feel like a family member rather than a patron. They ask how my son is doing by his name. And I’m a serious coffee drinker and can find a fresh pot even at 10 at night! They just renovated so now I feel it only fair that they get a perfect five stars. Its clean, new, it has everything I can think of at 4am when I leave for work from kleenex, taquitos, hair ties, AND a redbox machine!
