Allstate Insurance: Reginald Wendell

Reginald Wendell has been my insurance agent (home and auto) for many years, I believe around 8 years now. I have always dealt with him via phone and email and have found him to be extremely professional and helpful. It’s insurance, so it isn’t all the exciting. right? Well, I agree. So, what makes this a 5 star review? Customer service.
Some of the things that Mr. Wendell does that are more than I would expect from a typical insurance agent:
1) Mr. Wendell calls me each year, often twice a year, to go over my policy explaining in detail where I can save money. Typically, I am able to save money each year from small changes to the policy.
2) He is extremely honest about his business and tries to make sure the individual is covered with enough insurance but not too much.
3) If he makes an error, he will make it right. My earrings were stolen and I had previously asked for those to be covered by separate insurance. There was a miscommunication at some point and Mr. Wendell explained the problem to Allstate and my earrings were then covered. Mr. Wendell took the blame without making me feel like it was my fault. I was very impressed.
4) He is very responsive. He emails or calls back immediately. His office team is very organized and answer most questions if he isn’t available, but he is usually available.
5) When my house was broken into, Mr. Wendell was there with me through every step of the process. He made getting my money as painless as can be in that situation.
Overall, I highly recommend this agent. Anyone would be lucky to experience such wonderful customer service. If you are looking for any type of insurance, give him a call.
