The staff was very, very friendly. I couldn’t turn the corner without being asked if I needed help. However, once I got to the checkout area, I had issues. I had a True Value gift card I won on Twitter, and they wouldn’t take it! The cashier said he’d never seen one before and had no clue what to do. I even called to verify the amount on the gift card. He wouldn’t even call a manager for help, so I left frustrated and I left the items there.

If you actually need «hardware», then this is where you need to go. They have many advantages over the big box stores. They have a great selection of items for a small store. Your time is valuable and there are always plenty of people to help you find things, so you’re in and out very quickly. The prices are very good and you can buy individual screws, bolts, etc. instead of being forced into buying a whole pack of something when you only need 1 or 2.
