Papa John’s Pizza

This Papa Johns location pizzas and wings are always great and usually had exceptional service. I rated my last visit a 3 because of the service I received. My daughter placed an order online for pickup on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 around 8:45 pm. When picking up the order, the female cashier, who claimed to be the manager on duty started to recite my order based on what was written on the boxes. As she was reading the ingredients for the 2^nd pizza, I heard her say ‘BBQ sauce’. I stopped her and asked her to repeat the ingredients for the 2^nd pizza. After she read the ingredients «I immediately stated that my daughter most likely made a mistake and probably hit a button and did not realize it. I stated that I needed to check with my daughter to make sure. I told the young lady that I needed to check because I don’t eat BBQ sauce pizza and will not want this pizza because I don’t eat BBQ. Now, I will stop here so you can get a picture of what she was doing & saying while I was checking on the pizza. 1) she was busy trying to show me the order receipt and repeated several times that we ordered the BBQ, which I never questioned the accuracy of the order. Also, she kept pushing the order towards me, actually in to my hands. I think this is what really upset me with the service. The young lady «so-​called manager» actions said to me YOU ORDERED THIS, SO YOU NEED TO TAKE THIS PIZZA AND LEAVE! I asked my family if they wanted the BBQ or not & my husband stated it didn’t matter to him. So, back to the young lady, while I was on the phone asking my family what did they want me to do, the young lady yells to cook something about an order, so after I hang up the girl is staring at me, so I asked her if she requested the cook to make me another pizza. She looked at me like I was crazy, said ‘no’ and again pushed the pizza even closer to me. I decided to take the pizza and make a complaint regarding her customer service. I asked her if the managers name was on the receipt, she told me ‘yes’ (no name is on receipt). She asked me ‘why’ and I told her that she didn’t attempt to accommodate me, and it was at that point she offered to make me another pizza. I did not accept for 1) now you are mad at me, why would I do this, & 2) after all this time, while you are now preparing & cooking my pizza, the other pizza will be cold. Again, I never denied the possible mistake, computers are sensitive & I am pretty sure it has happened to others. If she had not been pushing the pizza and offered to make another pizza in the beginning, I would have been willing to pay for that 3^rd pizza. As you can tell I take customer service and accommodating your customers seriously. Again, the pizza here is great, but the real manager of this establishment should know what is going on in his/​her store while they are away.

I am writing about the new Cheeseburger Pizza. It comes w/​ground hamburger, tomatoes, cheese sauce and pickles??? I don’t like to really try new things but I figured why not? So glad I did! The sauce is not a red sauce it’s a mild American cheese sauce! hamburger meat is good quality, diced tomatoes, and pickles! I was wary about pickles on a pizza but I tell ya it’s so good that’s why I’m writing about it! Next time I’m adding onions. When you bite into it, it’s like eating a juicy cheeseburger! And the pickles are a sour dill and it’s just fantastic! They add a little kick that is just a burst of flavor. mmmm is all I can say. My pizza looked great and was full of ingredients. The drivers are always so friendly. I am not a fan of their crust. It taste a bit bland but other than that I have always been happy w/​Pappa Johns except it can be costly w/​o a deal. Actually I will just start to pick it up to save some money. I ordered during the last snow storm, and even though on-​line they said they won’t deliver, they did anyway. Always friendly service. I also tried the warm cookie, that taste great too, but you have to also warm it later if it cools or you won’t be able to bite into it. Thumbs up.

Reasonable prices, fast preparation. Pickup fast and effortless.

Papa John’s has always been my favorite pizza chain. I love their fresh ingredients and varieties. But this location is lacking. I live less than a mile from this store, but if we are getting delivery, we have to order over an hour before we’d like it. And our order is never correct. Maybe they need a 2^nd location.

Like Papa John’s. Always fast, hot and good. Try the spicy Italian with spicy sausage and pepperoni!

Good Pizza, I’ve ordered from them many times. They always deliver very quickly and before the estimated time. The drivers and always very nice! I’m always pleased with the pizza and the service!

I’m not really a fan of chain pizzerias so when my friend’s mom asked if I wanted Papa John’s I immediately said no thanks. Unfortunately my stomach was telling me otherwise, my friend and I spent the whole morning driving down to Stafford and I really did want something quick to eat. We ordered the $ 12.00 XL pizza with pepperoni, mushroom, onion, and spicy sausage… omg it was sooo good! They even give you this little thing of garlic sauce so you can spread it over your pizza… or dip it like me. Okay so now I’m a believer, SOME chain pizzerias aren’t THAT bad. The only reason why I give it four stars is because I’ve tasted better pizza, this one didn’t blow me away. It was good, but it wasn’t great.
