PP4AL is highly recommended! It is a practice for individuals with various disabilities by individuals with disabilities. They truly understand what your children and family are going through not because their med books told them but because they have gone through it themselves. For the the two of you who had a bad experience, probably because you did not follow through on instructions given to you in order for the doctors to do their job, I’m sorry but I know of at least 17 families Dr Johnson and Dr Avery have been life savers to! Remember children with learning differences and poor social skills equal«parents» with learning differences and poor social skills. Like anyone doctors and new businesses have their good days and bad days also!

I felt Dr. Johnson, Dr. Avery, and their staff were all excellent. I had my daughter reevaluated for ADHD, after an original positive diagnosis 5-years earlier. I was impressed with how thorough they were in testing, and how they took all the factor’s that affected my child’s life, into account. Their focus on my child, the time they took to explain everything to us, and their diagnosis that my child did not have ADHD, and what they determined was the real problem, was explained in detail and the doctors were very willing to listen to our concerns and questions. I felt they took a deep and sincere interest in my child and were not there to please the parent, but rather to get to the truth about my child’s problems. It was incredibly refreshing and now I feel like my daughter will truly get the help she needs, and not just a pill to mask the true problems. I highly recommend this office if your child is experiencing any problems with attention and/or learning.

I took my son there for about a year and after they helped with nothing and he only got worse I finally had enough and told Dr. Johnson how I felt about her. The billing is completely messed up, she’s very pushy, and she doesn’t believe parents! She kept wanting to push us to buy their packets of programs and stuff my son full of medications he didn’t need. After I told her how I felt about her she called the Department of children and family services on me and told him I am not giving him the help he needs(((because I am not buying into her programs))) They want you to invest so much money in their programs but then they have no guarantee it’ll work and no studies to show you it works. I am in no way neglecting my child and the case is now closed but if you want to protect yourself and your family you should stay far away from Dr. Joni Johnson and her practice!!! Because she’s in the position she is in and is a doctor they had to take her complaint seriously but she’s doesn’t deserve to be helping our children. Children with special-needs in attention & learning along with social behavior are special and amazing people that deserve strong people to have their back. These people are weak, feeble, manipulative, and sad con artists.
