Pretty good… I got tge double meat & cheese burger combo(the #1) with Parmesan cheese added to my fries. The Parm. fries have butter or something on them too. It was a little too oily for me. There was about 2.5TBS of butter at the bottom of the cup when I finished the fries. If you decide to get these fries, tell them easy on the butter. The topping for the fries are pricey. It was a dollar extra for that Parm. cheese! If you want chilli and cheese fries that is $ 2 extra! The topping prices and the slight strangeness of the staff is the only reason they didn’t get 5 stars. I would give 3.5 if I could.

I came based on a friend’s recommendation. It was alright. The decoration inside is fun to look at and there are tvs everywhere. My husband and I both got burgers and they were on the greasy side. He really didn’t like the buns at all. The fries were delicious though.

The cheesesteaks are as close to Philly as you can get in Houston. I would bring them back from Philly and then I can across this place. Meat is seasoned well and hot when you bring it home. You can also get whiz on it which is rare to find in Houston. I would give 5 stars if they stayed opened later and delivered!

I luv this place but last night the burger was not fabulous like I’m accustomed to, maybe the cook didn’t feel well. I will give them another chance.

It feels good to be back in Texas and have a good olé fashion burger. I’ve had on off visits here, but I just tried the spicy burger… Get it it provides the perfect kick. The fries are still amazing, perfectly seasoned and salted, nothing beats the simplicity of a burger, fries, and a drink

Had the spicy gyro with parmesan garlic fries. Didn’t think I would ever have a better gyro than Ali Babas in Lincoln, NE but this gyro was amazing. The fries were pretty good as well(similar to 5 Guys french fries). Would have given 5 stars but the bottom of my container of fries had about a half inch of oil on the bottom which was unappealing.

OMG… what a burger. Had the double meat double cheese spicy burger. Not too spicy but very flavorful. But the fries. I love fresh made fries and these were great. All in all a great visit. When next I am in the area I will return.

I want to start off and say I have tried the cheese burger from here because my twin brought it home one day. I took only one bite, and it had me craving since then. It was yummy! I really wanted a burger but didn’t want to eat meat. I opted for the black bean burger because they recommended it. It comes with lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, and mushrooms. I only got the lettuce, onions, and mushrooms with pickles. It was quite delicious since most bean burgers can turn out to be dry. I got this jalapeño sauce with and it is hella spicy! Be careful! I also ordered the to-go Long Island. Apparently all of the their drinks are made of wine. Long Island was okay. Sweet to me. I threw it away after a few sips. Overall, I liked the place, and loved the food.

This place gets the job done. The cheese steaks are delicious, as are the burgers. I don’t go often but I’m never disappointed when I do. The one complaint I would have is the Margaritas. They are wine based and not good at all.

Great burgers! Not the ideal place to be if you’re counting calories, but GREAT taste! Cheesy fries were pretty good, but a bit much for me. I think next time I’ll get regular fries, no chili or cheese.

The spicy double is my usual but today I tried the Philly steak. I did not like it at all mediocre at the most. Will never order that again. The fries I added cheese and spicy sauce we’re great!!! Tornado Burger is still a fav in this area!!!

The sign for the location may be a bit easy to miss from the street at first. There is ample parking around the establishment. There are other stores around so if you can’t find places to park right around it you can just park somewhere close by. The interior is pretty clean. Nothing too fancy, but it’s sanitary. The food is just order at the counter and then you can go pick up the food when they call your number. The service is pretty standard. There are about 3 – 4 TVs so you can catch your sports games when you are eating there. They have booths and tables that generally seat 4 people scattered around the place. The food is pretty good. Nothing too amazing. I personally think In and Out is better, but in and out is a bit pricier. The spicy burger is the way to go. It definitely creates a different dynamic than the standard burger. I thought the meat was a bit overcooked for me. A good place for a cheap bite to eat with pretty good quality.

Came here with my family on a Wednesday night. The Kidd had plain cheeseburgers and fries. My son, who loves burgers, said it was his new favorite after one bite. My daughter, who doesn’t usually eat meat, managed to finish the entire sandwich. They both want to come back already. But enough about the children… My husband and I shared a double cheeseburger and a spicy cheesesteak with Cheez Whiz. I had the burger first. It was amazing. It came with a slice of tomato, a leaf of iceberg and onion, Mayo and mustard. This is the kind of hamburger that the party is thin but so greasy, the edges are dark and crinkly. It reminds me the hamburgers of Dan’s in Austin, which, up until now, was my favorite. Location, location, location. The cheesesteak was huge. It looks like the chopped burger patties mixed with a lot of deliciously griddle onion. The bread was nice and chewy. And it is pretty spicy. To the point my sinuses opened up nicely! I’m not the hugest cheesesteak fan, but this was what made me rethink that position. The fries were good, not outstanding, but good nonetheless. Ambience is like an old mom and pop and the cleaning is a bit behind, but I can look past it for the food. Give it a go.

Decent, not the best. I got the cheese steak with provolone(should have tried with cheese wiz) with extra mushrooms with a side of spicey jalapeño sauce. Rather bland, needed mayo or something. Size was good, bread ok, i think it may be better toasted a little. Fries were nothing special. Kind of soggy in the cup they were served in. I prefer Pappa Geno’s inside 610 loop or Rockies in the Greenspoint area.

The spicy cheese burger is awesome! Wish I got the double patty instead of single! I definitely will next time. It’s simple yet full of flavor! The philly cheese steak is great too but if it’s your first time, try the burger first, your taste buds will thank ya for it!

Tornado Burger This is a place that you go for the staples, burger and fries. This is not a gourmet burger place. This is where you go back to the basics. There is a ton of parking. It isn’t dirty per say but this isn’t a pristine place. We had a tear in our booth, but who really cares. This isn’t a place you go to complain about that. I got a burger and added cheese to my fries. Wow did they give me a lot of cheese and a lot of fries. They don’t just pour cheese over the top, but it seems to permeate every layer. My sister got just fries and it came in a standard cup. My cup looked like it was twice the width of hers. That was a dollar for cheese well spent. If I want just want a burger and fries, I would come here.

The meat is getting thinner on the burgers Buns harder and cheaper Plenty on onions and lettuce Needs riper tomatoes… Overflow of fries If you want to get full order a double meat because the meat patties are paper thin :(

Great spot for both burgers and philly cheesesteaks. For the burgers, what separates this place is that 1. You can get the burger«spicy» and they have onions, garlic, and jalapeños ground into the meat. 2. Everything is cooked to order. The cheesesteaks are a very good option for Houston. Not as good as Pappa Genos but probably my second favorite in Houston right now.(This place is actually in Stafford but worth the drive for even people who don’t live in the area) I’ve had both the beef and the chicken philly and they both delivered. You can also get with Whiz as your cheese option if you don’t want to do the standard provolone. Other options on the menu as well, but highly recommend this place for the burgers and the cheesesteaks. One sidenote on the burgers. It’s best to get a double. The burger patties are pretty thin and only one would probably be a very small burger. I usually go with double meat/double cheeseburger.
