Wonderfaux Home

I have been wanting to try chalk paint for a while because so many people I know have done it and say it is easy. I have gone to a few places looking for paint, but have not been able to find colors that I like. Annie Sloan paint is supposed to be the best, so I decided to find a retailer.
I was in the area and called to ensure they were still open late Saturday afternoon, but they were closing. Instead, they said that they would remain open for me. The place is clean and inviting. It is not overly cluttered as one might expect. They have every color offered by Annie Sloan in stock and painted on something in the store. In fact, they have each color painted on wood with different wax finishes.
Right before I was leaving (already kept them 20 minutes past closing), Renee an off the clock employee began to give me some great pointers. She showed (and sold) me a cool product that would help bring the project to life. I almost cannot believe the level of customer service offered by Wonderfaux.

I was not greeted by the owner who felt it was more important to play with her iphone than acknowledge me. This was at the Fountainview store. When i asked about swatch samples, she tried to sell me the small bottles instead of the $ 3 sample color chart. She couldnt have been more snobby and unencouraging. I walked out feeling that i would rather buy annie sloan paint anywhere else but from her! Be prepared to be on your own when you go there
