We had the buffet lunch. They had a nice selection that the typical Indian buffet doesn’t have, however, it wasn’t anything to write home about. The naan was not fresh. I sent it back and asked for fresh naan, but the new one wasn’t very good anyway! The only dish I remember thinking was above average was the channa saag(spinach with chickpeas).

The food is good. The buffet on weekends is great and the price is reasonable. The spicy vegetable items I had were spicy without being too spicy. I tried to look up the menu to see what I ate but I couldn’t find it online.

the service here was a bit slow but then there were a lot of us so that is probably understandable. we ordered an awful lot of food i have no idea what any of it was called, but there was nothing that i ate that i didn’t like. the prices looked pretty reasonable as well. this is definitely a good place to come for a nice laid back indian feast. definitely worth checkin out.

CURRY-LICIOUS In restaurant-light Stamford Dakshin is a solid choice for Indian fare. I went to their weekend buffet and was very happy with their selection. Highlights: –Saag paneer –Green bean poriyal –Aloo gobi –Lamb vindaloo(tender chunks of lamb w/no bones… hooray!) –Tandoori chicken wings(never had the wings before… smokey & juicy!)
