Infinity Harbor Point

I visit a friend here very often, and the apartments are clean and modern. Love the outdoor space with the pool and grills! Looks like a great place to live in Stamford. Also a huge bonus — the train station is only 2 min driving/​10 min walking away!

The Infinity is the best building in the Harbor Point area. Trust me, I’ve done my fair share of due diligence.
The management is amazing
The building is extremely well built
The staff is awesome
The people in the building are all friendly and professional

My wife and I only lived here for 9 months because of a work relocation but this is by far the nicest and most well-​run building I have lived in. The concierge staff is amazing, management does an excellent job and the maintanance staff gets things done quickly and are very friendly. The Infiniti definitely charges a premium over some of the neighboring buildings but I feel it was well worth it, given the service level and amenities.
Also, if you are a dog owner, this is an excellent place to live. There is a dog park nearby and lots of friendly dogs (and owners) that live in the building. I’d hightly recommend the Infiniti if you’re looking to move to Harbor Point.

Infinity is by far the best building on Harbor Point! We have the best residents… The best property… The best management team! I’ve been here 3 years and have compared Infinity to every new opening (making sure I have the best value for my dollar). The apartments are larger and my views of the LI Sound and Manhattan are priceless. The Lincoln Property management team plans the best events for the residents (fitness classes, pool parties, poker night, paint and wine parties, specialty nights at restaurants and the list goes on). I hated the old BLT management team for perspective (unprofessional and lacking on honesty). I absolutely love it here! Don’t just listen to the critics… Come see for yourself.

I have been a resident for over a year and am happy with the apt in general. I did have an issue recently in the indoor garage which has given me a bad taste in my mouth. The garage doors are very erratic In the way they open and close. on númerous occasions I have had to get out of my car and go Into the building to put the door up from the wall switch. The other day I was on my way out and the door wouldn’t open. I started to get out of my car to use the door switch and suddenly the door went up. It grabbed my license plate bracket and ripped it off the front of my car scratching the front bumper. I brought it to the attention of management right away. I was told that i damaged their door and that they would not pay anything toward the repairs which wouldn’t have been much for them to obsorb. Basicly they said it was my fault and they would do nothing. I work in sales and this type of attitude won’t win you many new customers…

This property is probably one of the best in harbor point. They put on a lot of socials for their residents and the staff are very nice. The one issue with the apartment is the elevators. There are only three and when one breaks it takes a long time to fix and the other two aren’t big enough to accommodate.

We have lived here for about a year and a half and the only reason we’re moving out is because of job relocation. We searched high and low in Stamford before making a decision and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. We have absolutely loved our experience at Infinity. The facilities are beautiful and convenient and amazingly never crowded. The finishings are updated and modern, but still warm.
We lived on the fifth floor right near the pool and never even had issues with noise. Colleen and Emily in the leasing office are super helpful, responsive and nice. Concierge is the same. Lisa is a doll and they all do anything they can to help.
Whenever we had a maintenance issue (which was always something minor like a lightbulb out), concierge put in our request and it would be fixed the next day while we were at work.
The location is booming. An easy über/​cab ride to downtown, walking distance from Harbor Point which continues to grow. Living by the water is a plus too, especially during the summer. Easy commute to NYC is also a plus. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Very happy living here for the last 11 months and excited to renew my lease. The facilities are spotless, apartments spacious and the staff is amazing. Colleen and Lisa never fail to brighten your day with their big smiles and cheerful greetings. Thanks ladies!
Location is great and getting better. Many young professionals which is nice. Pool is a happening spot on the weekends just wish we had a jacuzzi. Love the coffee machine in the lobby!
Would love to see the addition of a jacuzzi and cabanas/​day beds instead of the silly putting green!
Home sweet home.

I’d have to agree with the reviewer on here. Infinity is great in theory but has a revolving door of mismanagers. Both Postmark and Beacon are better options and it shows as most of my friends have moved out or plan to. Don’t waste your time.

The new Management at Infinity has made a tremendous difference. They are always available, despite other posts stating otherwise and they are incredibly responsive to tenant needs. They have made Infinity one of the best properties in Stamford. They go the extra mile and they have done everything I could ask as a tenant to make Infinity a great place to live.
The building has wonderful amenities that are well maintained and under continuous improvement. There is a reason this building remains very well leased. The building is just the right distance from the activities in the area to enjoy them all without having to live in them everyday.
There are other new buildings in the area, but the combination of management, amenities and have an established community make Infinity a place I would recommend to anyone who is thinking of moving into the area.

I was moving from another building in Stamford and wanted to see the apartments at Infinity. I couldn’t even get that far because the person that I spoke to at the leasing office (Colleen) was so incredibly rude. I tried making appointments on 3 separate occasions with no luck. I finally spoke to Colleen and attempted to make an appointment with her. Not only was she extremely rude, she hung up on me. All for simply trying to see the apartment homes for a potential move. From that one experience I didn’t bother again, and chose another (better) building in the area. If that is «customer service» then this building will be losing residents left and right. I have never been spoke to that way. Stay far far away.

Typically coming from NY, if you’re going to go into a luxury apartment you would have the essential cosmetic ingredients to make it of value — plastic flooring from lowes, cheap washer/​dryer unit that breaks more than it works and living within a cement block to hear every time the neighbors are «congratulating each other «isn’t exactly something I would ever pay nearly $ 3000 a month for again.
The BLT standard is to walk into your apartment without notice while you’re sleeping, in the shower and/​or in the buff.
I soon left HP just as new Managemnt purchased and took over the building. Still not worth the dollar they proclaim to stand by– also, what makes matters worse is that while you’re paying 3 – 5,000/ month — «affordable housing» is letting undesirable people in the building to pay a ¼ of that.
Think twice before going to stamford. There is ALWAYS a better avenue to take than a building built by BLT.

It’s not a bad building, it is definitely one of the nicer, friendlier ones in the area, it has it’s pros and cons.
Pros
— love that you can get a walk-​in closet even with only 1 bedroom apt
— nice pool area and heated pool
— nice fire pit
— commons rooms are nice but close too early
— nice balcony that comes with each apt
— has a nice park out in the front
— covered, indoor parking that is attached to the building
— great digital package tracking system
— nice BBQ grills
— pets friendly
— the higher the floor your apt is, the higher the ceilings
— comes with an island with your kitchen
— gas stoves
— ice makers built into the freezer
— each apt has its own washer and dryer
— bathrooms are huge
— each apt comes with 1 parking space
Cons
— not fully sound proof
— concrete walls make it hard to hang things
— bath tubs are too small
— glass shower doors make the bath tub even smaller
— only 1 sink in the kitchen
— bedroom and living/​dining room needs lights in the ceiling to make it brighter
— rent is on the higher-​end side
— lots of yappy dogs
— cabinets could be designed better — parts of is a waste of space
— not enough covered storage
— the Walgreens across the street isn’t open on weekends — only serves businesses around the area and not residents
Overall, I like the building. But improvements can be made.

I looked at this place in May. It is a joke. The building is in the middle of the ghetto, and a noisy construction site. I was less than impressed with Suzanne, the woman who showed me the different apartments. She showed up late and unapologetic. Her general demeanor was I was a bother and she acted as if she owned the building. Snooty and rude.

leasing managers are not that great. most of the time, they are not around and unresponsive

We moved from NYC to Infinity (201 Commons Park South) in December. Initially we were excited to discover a rental property outside of the city that had the right combination of layout, location, and cost. The sales staff were incredibly nice. We rented the same day we toured! In hindsight, we should have shopped around in the area.
The good:
–size of 1br and ceiling height (which on our floor is 2 ft higher than other floors).
–view (of Manhattan from upper floors of south side) is great.
–parking garage
–proximity to train Stamford.
The Bad:
–the interior noise (we were promised virtual silence as the units are essentially concrete blocks. Sadly, we can hear everything from apts around us including our neighbor’s really cute but really loud puppy).
–the exterior noise (BLT really cut corners on the windows and sliding doors. The exterior noise is unsettling and with so much construction around be prepared for challenges sleeping passed 7 AM ever. Also the construction of the patio bars creates a noisy vibrating effect, loud enough to interfere with tv watching and conversation.)
–quality (almost immediately upon moving in we started noticing little things that together complete the picture of a hastily constructed apartment using the cheapest labor and materials possible.
Here’s a list of items we saw/​or requested maintenance to deal with:
1. Water and wind seepage through the bedroom window and the sliding door.
2. Malfunctioning (brand new) washer/​dryer.
3. Clicking noises coming from the heating/​cooling vents
4. Paint on most of the fixtures.
5. Broken latch in refuse chute.
6. Broken main entrance door that swings open with wind.
7. Low quality/​broken equipment in the gym.
–shuttle service (they’ll tell you the shuttle is there to serve you, but everything I’ve learned mainly from the terrific and friendly drivers is that it’s really here to serve Pitney Bowes. I’ve waiting 25 min for the shuttle to swing by the station and bring me home. In January walking is death by wind so you have to wait. Also, the building is in the remote and newly gentrified section of South End Stamford. BLT is not currently providing service to either downtown or Harbor Point I where the Fairway is located. Be prepared to walk through a less than desirable neighborhood or take your car everywhere.
So, all in all, we are pretty disappointed by the failed promise to deliver what BLT calls, «luxury». We’re not über fancy people, but if you’re going to sell a vision and charge top dollar to get it, I believe you have to deliver on that promise. Infinity at Harbor Point is not living up to it’s promise yet. Hopefully, it will figure this out soon.

This building is a disaster. From the management to the qulity of the units to the plastic floors — it is a disaster. I lived here for a while and I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I had multiple issues that had to be elevated to management. For example i kept getting locked out of the garage because the opener kept being deactivated. So i would have to get out of the car, open the side door, walk inside, open the garage door, walk back out, get back in my car and quickly drive in before the door came back down again. I addressed this multiple times and multiple times the request went unresolved or would re-​occur,
Parking is a nightmare in general. The front lot is constantly full and if you have a guest or need to run into your apartment, there is no where to park. You have to park clean down the street in front of the gym.
The heat broke in our unit and we reported it twice before a maintenance person came. And even then it wasnt fixed correctly.
Everyone who works there, passes the buck. They have a lassez faire attitude about any isses you bring up and don’t communicate between themselves. Therefore I had to address multiple issues with multiple people before the issue was even addressed.
There are so many problems and I dont have the room to list them all.
I would just say — dont live here. It was an absolute nightmare.

Harbor Point has completely changed the game for apartment communities in Stamford. Why pay typically more at places like Avalon when the quality and amenities just are not there? Why pay more for building constructed out of wood (yes, go ask your leasing people) when BLT made their structures with rock and concrete?
One of the more exclusive communities of BLT, Infinity offers 244 apartments. Beautiful lobby. Concierge services (huge plus in my opinion). Shuttle to and from the train station. Granite counters. Dark wood cabinets. Faux hardwood floors (goodbye crummy carpet that invades all other apartments). Key fob entries. Garage. And, a beautiful community area.
I like (really love) the new South Stamford. Everything I need is here. Fairway is here. A beautiful park is right outside my door with an awesome concession stand that serves more than just a burger and ice cream.
Yes, I am looking to eventually buy a property to call home. But, until I have enough saved to get there, this is an awesome step inbetween.
