I went to Stop and Shop the other day to buy flowers and the woman who helped me could’ve easily just mailed it in but was very meticulous and wrapped up my flowers beautifully. When she had little to gain! This was June 16 around 6:30 pm. What a pleasant experience.

My experience with the Stop & Shop Pharmacy(# 0637) has been a surprisingly pleasant one. My pharmacist Steve R. is professional and affable. He is knowledgable about my specific needs and always goes above and beyond to make certain that I not only get the correct Rx every time but that I get the best value. As a physician, I have dealt with many pharmacies and pharmacists over the years and I have never met one so dedicated to helping patients at every aspect of his interaction with them. I actually permanently changed pharmacies after I developed a working rapport with Pharmacist Steve R. Without reservation I can most strongly recommend the Stop & Shop Pharmacy(# 0637) to anyone out there who wants a very well educated, capable, trustworthy pharmacist. I also would like to state that there is also another excellent pharmacist there named Sandra whom I have had limited but positive interactions. I consider her a very positive asset to the Stop & Shop Pharmacy family, as well.

Rude employees who obviously don’t want to help you at all, terrible customer service!

I have been saying that this was a bad supermarket for some time. In fact, the other super market’s in Stamford are bad as well with the exception of Fairway and Trader Joe’s. But this location has sent me home with bad meat one too many times, so here I am to tell you about it. Twice in two weeks, I had meat that went bad well before the«purchase by» date. This has happened before, but I usually just threw it away. I don’t recall this happening twice in a row, once every 4 – 8 weeks perhaps. I agree with the other reviewers about the customer service. It is indeed very, very bad. They are regularly out of plastic bags in the self serve lane and the attendant, if present, pays no attention and cops an attitude when you ask for bags. The attendant does not help you at all, unlike other stop n shops in other locations, the attendants usually help with bagging, if they are available and you have a lot of stuff. No matter who the attendant is, this is the behavior, no help, no bags, texting on a smart phone, or laughing with another employee. It is as if they train staff to behave poorly here. There are never enough staff at the cash registers and forget about baggers. You can usually find about three managers running around up front not opening a new register themselves but rather ignoring the long lines of customers. The parking is criminally awful.

The worst Stop & Shop in this area. Customer service is either non existent or just plain sucks. The parking lot is a nightmare. Don’t make the mistake of using the self serve scanners because if they stop working for some reason and you don’t notice, they will basically call you a thief. I only use the self checkout now because of that incident. I try so hard not to go to this location but sometimes it’s unavoidable since I work in the area. The one thing it had going for itself was that fact that it was 24⁄7 but its not anymore.

Spend your money anywhere but here! The deli service is the worst I have ever experienced. I’ve personally spoke to the store manager twice but no changes.

I find this supermarket perfectly acceptable. I go in there at least twice a week and I never have had any problems. Most of the produce is good, some rarely bad, some beautiful. They have a large selection of gluten free items, though I would like some more in the frozen area(the freezer section is quite small compared to most grocery stores). Also I wish they carried some indian food items like the Trader Joe’s(they have it randomly at some times). The staff is pretty fine and friendly. I also find the check out staff to be more than friendly, I enjoy speaking with them while checking out. In fact, I find all the employees helpful and accommodating. My boyfriend hates the queues for billing, he insists on going to self checkout, though generally he is not doing the shopping ;)

The customer service at this location is the absolute worst! This location went from 24rs to closing at 1:00am. I and a few other customers arrived at 12:45am Wednesday 10÷23÷13 and found that the store was closed. I questioned an employee at the door who turned to ask her manager if she could let us in the manager told her«tell them we are closed.» I called at 8:00am when they reopened and spoke to the most unprofessional. Assistant manager named Laura who basically told me I was lying about the store closing early. This is why I will pay a lil more to have great customer service & better quality products at WholeFoods or Fairway.
