Stopped here for a quick lunch, and it was such a cozy environment! This place is owned and operated by a family– the mom cooks, son preps, and the daughters serve. It’s always nice to see a family working hard together. Food was very reasonably priced, and everything was very delicious! Definitely recommend this place!

My wife and I, upstate residents, were out looking for things to buy at the ubiquitous yard, farm, and estate sales this time of year. We found a few things on the Garmin, but finding that the Kaatskill House seemed to be looking for someone to open the place, we found T P’s café. As per usual, we ordered a dish to share. We’re particularly glad we did this time. We ordered the turkey sub with bacon and a side of fries. Massive sandwich, with moist, flaky turkey and plentiful strips of smokey bacon easily satisfied our hunger. Topped with the usual l, t and mayo, a really good sandwich. Evidence of the fresh-baked bread was apparent. The fries, however, were a bit under-cooked and greasy.

I live in NYC but had a little getaway with my boyfriend to SunnyHill Summit Retreat and was suggested to try this place out by the host. How I wish this café wasn’t three hours away from home because I don’t think I have ever had such tasty, quality and well priced breakfast ever before. FORGETIHOPE or DENNYS. Great service, great food. When and if I am ever around, I will return not only for breakfast but lunch and dinner too! Just know they do not accept cards. ONLYCASH.

Every year I take a trip to South Kortright New York and for the past 2 years, my group and I have made stops to TP Café for breakfast. I definitely recommend this place. The food is consistent, the service is friendly, and they also are very accommodating to groups which is always appreciated. I’ve only ordered breakfast here and I’ve tried a few different foods. You feel very local here and it’s a cozy restaurant that makes you feel like you’re eating in someones personal kitchen. The things that I would recommend getting are: egg white flatbread sandwich with feta cheese, red peppers, and spinach(so good, great portion and the flatbread is nice and soft), the bacon(nice, long, crispy strips) and the home fries(ask for it well done, so much better!). I also like their corned beef hash – if you ask for it as a side, it’s a good amount of food, definitely enough for 2, maybe 3 to share. This is a great place for a laid back breakfast/lunch and it’s a place I look forward to ever year!

TP’s is an amazing small-town Catskills diner. The staff is always friendly and the food is incredible. My favorites are the big, juicy burgers, taco salad and freshly-made tortilla chips! Everything from breakfast to lunch to dinner(open til 7 on tuesdays) is good, go try it right now!
