Me and my friends had a great time at this beer garden. When we went, it was gorgeous weather, few people, and the Hapa Food truck. There were tons of families with young kids and lots of dogs. Great selection of beer and good selection of hard alcohol to make whatever you want. Lots of open tables for other groups. I would suggest bringing snacks and games of your own. It’s definitely family friendly with a couple of games to keep everyone entertained. Beware of rowdy groups of kids knocking over your Jenga game.

If I could put zero stars, I would. First words: The Customer is ALWAYS right. Second, the receipt was forged. My friends and I went to the Beer Garden after celebrating my friends bridal shower in Greenwich, CT– we are all(full disclosure in/over our 30’s & no longer in our«frat years»). The tip was over $ 100! The bride-to-be signed, in good spirits, after having a wonderful day & not fully looking over the bill & seeing everything was filled in. Therefore, the conversation banter back & forth between the manager & my friend was appalling, to put it lightly. I’m all for leaving a great tip, but this was absurd. The language used by the manager — «ball out» — was also very juvenile. I do NOT recommend this place for anyone that might get gipped, ridiculed or end up having an awful time(leaving the premise«balled out»).

This is a perfect getaway location with the illusion of being on vacation. We were a group of seven and arrived around 7:00PM on a Saturday. We opened a tab with the Beer Garden and got a picnic table overlooking the harbor bay and watched a beautiful sunset as boats were coming in from the sound towards the marina. There was also a gourmet food truck HaPa which served great beef and yellow fin tuna burgers and fried chicken sandwiches. They also had the best seasoned fries and corn on the cob, which they brought the entire order directly to our table. I think they are only there Wednesday thru Saturday until the end of September. Worth the trip.
