TERRIBLESERVICE! I called to ask a simple question about delivery and the guy who picked up wouldn’t let me finish my question, completely cut me off with such an attitude. He yelled«Well where are you?» before I could even say our location – «WHAT’S THEADDRESS?» –umm really? gonna yell to a potential customer over the phone? And if I wanted a delivery I would have to call earlier(before 11am for lunch???). «All» of their deliveries were in progress so I can’t place the order. Food isn’t even THAT good.

Great variety for breakfast and lunch. Friendly owner. The crusader breakfast sandwich is my go to.

I would give more stars but every time I go to this place there is ZERO organization! There is a funky counter and people just walk up and order and then they don’t let you pay you pay after and then there is no separate line for that so you just stand there because everyone who works there is painfully slow! They need to get a proper order line and a proper pick up line and a system to pay that works better than what they have because it’s completely redick! The food is good so it sucks cause you can’t ever run there for a quick bite you will always have to wait at least a half hour even if you order ahead and pick up! Tacos are to die for and the kale salad is delish so it is truly a shame they can’t get something so easy done. Organize your system people things would be so much better

I just grabbed lunch here based on the spicy tuna sandwich on the previous review. Wow, delicious! All other tuna sandwiches pale in comparison. Fast service even in the heat of lunch hour. Nice little place.

Got the spicy tuna sandwich toasted. Dear lord it was amazing. One of the best tuna sandwiches I’ve had. Quick service and decent prices!

I’d like to say before this review, I am a HUGE fan of Tony’s Corner Deli in Ridgefield. It’s on my top 5 favorite delis. But I’ve only every been disappointed with The Village Table. Yesterday I went to in grab 3 breakfast sandwiches in the AM. The place was fairly packed. As the menu is located by where you order/pay, and its very large, there were half a dozen people standing in front and holding up the line. It took over 10 minutes for me to place an order, which is ridiculous as no one was ordering in front of me, just looking at the menu. I waited another 20 minutes to receive my sandwiches, which had been sitting on the back counter, being ignored. By now, I’m losing my patience. When I get home, all 3 breakfast sandwiches are wrong. One is missing the sauce, another has no meat and all three had the wrong cheese. There are better places in Stamford to grab a quick bite. Hoenstly, I would drive up to Ridgefield then come back here.

Share restroom with Laundromat next door… they don’t know how make a simple club sandwich… The chili fries are greasy and under cooked… I would not waste my time here.

Absolute crap. Rushed service, cramped, and no logical set-up of the restaurant.

A great option for a quick, casual breakfast or lunch. The prices are very reasonable for the area as well. The breakfast sandwiches are fantastic and they have some fun and different menu selections. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This little spot with counter service is more than expected. WIth a wide range of choices from the black boards hanging on the wall, you can have all kinds of sandwiches and wraps and salads. Also an extensive list of breakfast sandwiches. They even put the potato cones inside the sandwich. What is a potato cone? Well, then, you definitely have to go to find out. They are little fried mashed potato balls. The space is cute and friendly. You can sit at a table outside, or inside, or take it to go. A great addition to the neighborhood.

One of the few places open at 6AM that isn’t a diner in Stamford. Breakfast omelette’s are hearty, burrito is wonderfully cheesy and the shrimp tacos were so flavorful that we got a second order. If you’re from the town, you’ll recognize The Black Knight and The Crusader sandwiches – looking forward to trying on my next visit. Owner is very accommodating! Two tables outside if you’re looking to enjoy the nice weather as well.

Really strange set up, really good breakfast. You order from the counter, easy enough, and then you go find a table. The whole counter situation from ordering, to pick up, to paying is a bit chaotic. But the breakfast combinations they have are great: specifically the East Ender. A well made bacon, egg, and cheese with hashbrowns or cones on it. Prices are cheap, coffee is meh, but Dunkin is around the corner for that. Overall, I’d recommend and have recommended this place to people.

This guy Tony knows how to craft a meal. Always an interesting mix of ingredients — showing the depth of his culinary understanding. It all comes together as a delicious meal in the unassuming little venue which looks a lot better in the inside than it does from the street. Great value for the price as well.

Found this place just driving by. Its a little hidden but is a great place if you are just looking for a quick well prepared meal. Well priced and they have a large menu that makes it hard to choose just one thing.

Great atmosphere and great food. I really didn’t expect The Village Table to look the way it does. It looked like a simple«hole in a wall» from the outside, but inside it is nicely decorated and clean. It looks like a high-end café that doesn’t belong in a shopping plaza(I mean, the place is located between a laundromat and a sports good store). The place is small, but the menu offers almost everything you would want to eat for breakfast or lunch. During my first visit here, I ordered«steak and eggs.» I was a bit disappointed that the«steak» was just slices of beef, but the eggs were good. They were scrambled with cheese and peppers. The next visit, I ordered«huevos rancheros.» It was DELICIOUS. I even had some deviled eggs to snack on, and they were tasty. The owner, Tony, is friendly and treats his customers well. You should come here just to meet Tony, even if you aren’t hungry. I have seen him offer a customer free coffee, even though the guy had already gotten some from Dunkin Donuts. When the wait for food was longer than usual, Tony offered the waiting customers free cups of soup while they waited. That is customer service worth 5 stars. This kitchenette is awesome!

Great to see Tony back in business! The Village Table has a huge selection and variety of creative sandwiches and delicious salads. Great for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between. Tony makes his own ham and turkey which are out of this world. I highly recommend the Cobb salad, chicken soup, and the Hawaiian Ham sandwich. Prices are reasonable, too. The environment is comfortable and very welcoming! Always good music playing. This is a great, well-needed, and cozy lunch spot and addition to the Springdale Area. I come here almost every day for lunch. :) Jamie Buchanan

Great to see another luncheonette pop up after Kim’s left. Prices are super reasonable, and the food is great. Sometimes places are rough around the edges when they first open but that is not the case here. A welcome addition to Springdale. Don’t OD on the complimentary Hazelnut syrup for your coffee
