Enjoyed this unique venue on Wednesday evening! Really a surprise location among corn fields! Good service and excellent dishes! We were encouraged to try the «horseshoe» or «ponyshoe»… Oh my goodness, comfort food at its very best!

This place was great! After we had mini tacos, I got half of my horseshoe down and he got a little over half gone I will definitely be back to try other food! Our server was awesome! She made sure we were taken care of…

This is an all around great place to gather with friends! Great beer garden! I do feel like the beer garden isn’t being utilized to its potential. It’s HUGE! Maybe some dart boards? Bag toss game? I’m sure it’s great when there is a band.

Excellent food, great relaxed country atmosphere. Friendly staff, great service. Had the breaded chicken horse shoe, (a horse shoe is your choice of meat, on toast, covered in french fries and then topped with cheese sauce). It was very good. Wife had the «Standard City squeal». It is grilled, marinated pork chunks, it was excellent. Will definitely be back!

The Unilocal map showing the location is incorrect. The actual location is 5 blocks to the west on the Standard City Blacktop and on the north side of Standard City.
This place is located where you just don’t stop in while driving by. You have to want to go to Standard City to get there. Make the trip and check it out. It’s amazing what they’ve done with this building. The owner continues to improve the place and has done a nice job.
If this place was in Springfield it would be packed every night.
The menu is the usual bar food but they have daily specials. Thurs & Fri steaks & Sat prime rib.
Drink prices pretty good. Try the McLin-​tea. Really good. Tastes just like peach tea but with a kick.
