We just moved to the Area and thought we would give this place a try, the Beef on a stick was grisly mangled, greasy and over cooked. My Fried Shrimp was what seemed to be 2 baby shrimp in a ton of batter. The rice was mussy and over cooked all in all. everything went into the trash and we made BLT’s I would never go back.

If I could give this«restaurant» a negative star I WOULD!!! Dirty. Cold… Gross! Horrible. I mean horrible service. If I could stop payment on my card I would. Run away to anywhere else. Subway is across the street and a stale donut from dunkin would be gourmet compared to this dump. I’m surprised the doors are still open. Shame shame shame!

Food tasted old. Honestly, didn’t dare to eat it. Really made me sad because I remember when Karry Out first opened and how great the food was. What happened?

I’ve been in the Standish area for almost five years, now. I used to highly recommend Karry Out for tasty food in a convenient location with great prices. Welp. In the last year or so, we’ve had to make several(I’d say probably 7 times out of 10) return trips to the restaurant to pick up missing parts of our orders. We have a big family and often order the party platters — the large rings up at just over eighty dollars a pop. That’s a lot of money to not get everything you ordered on the first try, and we live far enough away that the return trips eat up our gas in a hurry. The flavor has gone down hill. The grease factor has risen. Items are frequently served overcooked. It’s just unappetizing. The location is still convenient, for the most part, so that whomever is on their way home in the evening or out shopping at Hannaford can stop and grab our order. But, again, the return trips negate that benefit. Great prices? Not so much. They’ve risen, of course, over the years. You usually get decent portions for the prices. Usually. If they remember to pack everything into your takeout box. So, no. Because of all of the above and including the less than stellar customer service at the front desk, I will no longer be recommending Karry Out. We’d rather drive as far as Westbrook, Windham, or even GRAY to get our Chinese food.
