Lars is amazing.
My parents have been getting massages from him for several years and have been treating it like a religious experience since day 1.
My father especially describes it and an out of body experience. They say compares it to a wonderful spiritual high.
I had my first massage with Lars several weeks ago.
He came to the house, which is seriously fantastic if you’ve never had the pleasure. I hadn’t and being able to indulge in my post massage bliss without having to drive away was really a delight.
Anyway, back to Lars. He talks with you before the massage, getting a sense of you and also your likes and dislikes. He has an incredible ability to hone in on certain painful points on your body while still allowing your body to relax. The pressure, I thought, was intense but really an excellent experience. He works up pressure on your problem areas in a way that relieved so much pressure from my shoulders without ever being abrupt or painful. All around beautiful experience.
If ever you have the opportunity to have work done by Lars, take it!

I have received several massages with Lars and each time they get better. His intuition, presence and ability to focus on and pay attention to specific areas of pain while still providing a whole-​body deep relaxation is amazing. I appreciate his loving demeanor and expertise. He is a serious student of the healing arts and it comes through in the variety of healing work he does. I felt very safe and held in his energetic presence.

I got my first massage from Lars about one month ago, and it was absolutely great. I crave a deep pressure, combined with a superior knowledge of anatomy. Lars has both. Mostly, we worked on my upper body — Lars did work on my pectorals, around my clavicle area, on my traps — all with advanced techniques and a great attention to detail. He knows how to drop in slowly, which is important, and the pace of his work is really measured, gradual, methodical, and although it’s strong, it’s also very compassionate. Lars also listened closely to what I wanted to get out of the massage, and followed my wishes, instead of sticking to some arbitrary plan that he had in mind. Additionally, he used a really nice, organic massage cream (Santa Barbara brand — I can’t remember the precise name). All in all, he’s a strong, smart, wonderful healer, and I expect to have sessions with him for a long time coming.

Lars is very attuned to his clients and is a true healer. He made me feel comfortable and gave one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I recommend him highly.

Lars is amazing!!! He converses with you in the beginning to ask what areas you’d like him to focus on, and smoothly checks in with you throughout the massage in a way that is soothing and doesn’t disrupt your peace! His massage is one of a kind, and well worth it!!! He makes you feel comfortable at all times, really gives you that deep tissue massage, and by the end you feel refreshed and ready to take on the world!!! I will definitely be getting several more massages from him, and I recommend him to everyone else without hesitation!!!

Lars gave me easily one of the best bodywork sessions I have ever had the pleasure of receiving, and as a massage therapist I do not say this lightly. He is the master of perfect pressure, providing amazing depth without pain and transformation without drama. Working beyond the typical massage moves, his compassion really shines through with every touch. I felt completely comfortable opening myself up to his work. In particular, Lars gave special attention to a 20-​year-​old 7-​inch surgical scar on my hip and was able to drastically reduce the adhesions in this area, while providing the emotional and physical release I have been seeking for years. I recommend him without reservation. Don’t miss out on the experience of Lars. He is a truly wonderful bodyworker.

Lars is an extraordinary massage therapist. He’s very sensitive and intuitive. He’s constantly learning new things and eager to apply the helpful therapies that he learns that reduce stress and heal injuries. I prefer deep tissue massage and he does the best I’ve experienced in my 25 years of receiving regular massages. Plus he’s reasonably priced. Who could ask for more?
