Does anyone know where they tow your vehicle? Stanton PD dispatch had no clue cuz the car wasnt showinh up... Trxt me please asap

My husband’s car was broken into either last night or early this morning before 3 am.
This is the second car of ours that was broken into.
We park by the office.
If you saw anything please let the office know.
What was stolen was a duffle bag with tools in it and a survival preparedness backpack and a backpack with some other things in it and two flashlights.
We are not worried about what was taken and there was no damage to the car we just want to know if anyone knows anything or saw anything.

I moved in on 9÷11÷15. I will periodically update my review to give residents and prospective residents an honest review of my experience living here at Briarwood Square.
The property itself is an older property. With that being said it’s been kept up pretty well. It could use better weed and leaf clean-​up, but then again we have entered the Fall season so it’s probably not the best time to judge that.
The property has 3 pools which is convenient. The 2 smaller pools could use some clean-​up, but it’s nothing except for some dirt at the bottom. Believe me, I’ve seen worse!
As far as management and office staff goes, I personally thought all of the ladies in the office who helped me during my move-​in were awesome.
I had a little parking issue the first night and woke up to a note on my car. It seems I was assigned a spot that was already assigned to somebody else. No big deal it was taken care of immediately the next day. The only thing I don’t like about the parking is that I don’t believe there is enough visitor parking nearby so you can expect that you’re guest may have to walk a little bit.
I do live by one of the main streets and somehow a marble busted my front window. I have a feeling it shot out of the tread on someone’s tire since my husband was outside when it happened and he didn’t see anyone around. When I notified the office they were really good about scheduling for someone to come out and replace the window right away.
The other residents and neighbors seem pretty cool. To be honest it’s a very quiet complex. Everything in my unit seems to be working just fine.
I read reviews about mice and rats, and I was absolutely terrified before I moved in. Luckily, I can say I have been very observant and have yet to see mice or rats.
We’ve met a few of the maintenance men and they seem like very nice people.
I’m not sure whether or not this complex provides security. I haven’t seen any guards on the property.

Do NOT be fooled by the tidy landscaping. The management is lazy, obviously uneducated and incompetent.
Management has no standards for the type of people of live here. Recently, new neighbors moved in. There are about 9 of them in the 2 bedroom apartment. Worse… The neighbors are cooking something that smells of horrible chemicals. I’m fairly certain (from my googling) that THE NEIGHBORS ARE COOKING METH.
I can’t have my windows open bc a rancid chemical smells keeps coming through. I’ve reported it to management my but of course, they have done nothing.
DO NOT MOVE HERE, Unless you wanna live next to wanna be Walter White. DRUG MAKERS LIVE HERE.
My lease ends soon. Can’t wait. If I could give this 0 stars, I would.

Lived here for almost 5 years. At first it was great, I loved the fact that it was quiet and we had garages. Slowly over the years there were incidents with the water being shut off constantly, lot of trash diggers, and kids making tons of noise and ruining the landscape. If you have more than 1 car you’re going to hate it here, reason being is that if you don’t have a second parking spot for your second car you won’t be able to find parking here, there are a total of maybe 7 visitor spots and most of them are already taken up by people who save spots for each other. So you’ll end up having to park in the residential neighborhoods where most of them are now requiring a permit to park there or you’ll get your car egged by the neighbors who are tired of seeing random cars parked in their neighborhood. Friends visiting? Forget it, tell them to get an UBER so they don’t have to struggle for over an hour with parking.

I lived there for 10 months– I couldn’t leave fast enough! If you don’t smoke you will hate it. Smokers would stand outside and the smell of cigarettes would be everywhere– the AC unit was in the bedroom so I would TRY to have the door open for some fresh air– as soon as the smokers congregated I would shut my door.
The linen closets smelled musty leaving the towels with the same smell. Visitor parking was awful!!! My visitors ended up having to park in the residential streets.
Roaches started crawling up the plumbing in the kitchen — I was having the apartment sprayed monthly.

The new apartment staff hired in the last 6 months is slow and not very knowledgeable. They do not return phone calls or emails. When you come into the office with an issue they will write it down on some random notebook or sticky pad only to be lost on the messy desks.
The apartments allow large pets and that is the only reason I moved here. It can be noisy with all the barking at night. My neighbors would leave poop in their back patio area for weeks and it smelled so bad I was not able to enjoy the outdoors.
The interior is average for the price range, but there are several fees that are added now for water, trash, gas.
There is absolutely no parking. If you have guest you should have them park down the street some where and you will have to go get them. Your vehicle will likely be towed if you park in the wrong spot.
I actually got evicted, but some of my items were stolen and the locks changed by the office staff a few days before I was scheduled to move out. I moved into a house with my friend.
I wouldnt recommend this apartment unless it is really close to your job and you can’t find anything else that will accept a large pet. Hope this helps.

If I could give this place a negative star, I would. While living there was mediocre, the move out was TERRIBLE.
1)Turned in the last rent check to Jack, the manager personally, and was told I would be mailed a receipt for my last month of rent. Ok?
2)Then I get my last statement and there’s a couple hundred dollars that was taken from my deposit for «utilities», but charges just weren’t adding up, because I wasn’t charged any damage because the apartment was in very good shape still and the amount didn’t coincide with utilities. Jack couldn’t explain them, and when I asked for a breakdown, said he didn’t have that to give me.
3) I turned in my check to him personally, before move out date, and was then charged a $ 75 late fee because they didn’t stamp it in until 4 days AFTER I have turned it in. Again, tried to speak with him about this to get the wrongly charged fee back, and he told me unless I could PROVE I turned it in prior to being late, the $ 75 late fee was correct. When he got cocky with me was the tipping point of my experience with Briarwood. OH, YOU MEAN THE DATE ON THE CHECK, WHICH YOU ACCEPTED PERSONALLY ISN’T PROOF OF THE DAY YOU RECEIVED IT!!! Why would he have accepted it late with that date, if it really were late? Ultimately, I ended up taking the company to small claims court just to get the money back that they were trying to wrongfully charge me. Justice served.

Lemme start from the beginning. First they gave us maintanence parking spot, so we were left without a spot that we were paying $ 40 a month for. Then they give us an extra garage becaus they have no extra parking spots. Well management changed and demanded our extra garage. Well we don’t have a parking spot. So they gave us one and ver betam «it isn’t that far from your apartment» hahahhaahhahaah. It was the farthest away it could be. The exact opposite of the entire complex. I was 4 months pregnant when they told me I had to walk across the complex to get to my car. They said they would give me a closer one as soon as one opened up. 5 months later.: Still nothing. I watched 5 of my neighbors leave, and yet still nothing. I asked for a parking spot that I knew was open and I got no response. Sooooo. Nothing. Finally after me threatening sueing them for harming my baby they gave me a new one. Only to find out they assigned 2 other tenants the same parking spot.
That’s not even the worse. I decided to give you the easy news first. They lost our rent check 3 times and charged us $ 75 for each lost check. It wasn’t until I made them copy & sign each of my rent checks that they stopped losing them.
They tried charging me more rent and parking 4x. Luckily I checked everytime
And caught them trying to charge me more. They asked me to pay utilities with out actually seeing a bill because their finances weren’t in order. Hmmm sounds fishy. They told my husband that we would be charged $ 2000/​month versus $ 1620 once our rent was up. I told them it was illegal, then all
Of a sudden it was back to $ 1620.
If you want a hassle free, relaxed living environment don’t live here. The management will try to get away with murder then blame you for it.
So glad I moved out here. I would rather be living in the ghetto of ghettos with no running water then live in this shithole. There are rats, there are cockroaches and there is the management team. I don’t know what’s worse
And also, everyone but the manager can’t do shit about anything. They are helpless. They act concerned but nothing happens. It took them 5 months to fix my fence.

This used to be a great community until monkeys started running it. They lost our papers, they over charged us for over 5 months. They never return your calls, they have attitudes. I can’t wait to get out. Go ask any tenant, most have had issues with new management. These people don’t know how to run an apartment complex. Do yourself a favor and avoid the pain and suffering don’t deal with these people. Run while u can. So sad what has become of this place.

If I thought that getting their attention when I lived their was hard, it’s even harder now that I moved out.
They are charging me double on a carpet that was installed a couple days prior to moving out, (that I paid full price for)
I tried talking to every one of these people to get a copy of my lease Or corporate office information, and no body will provide me with further information.

The Worst Place to Live on Earth!!! Do not Rent from here. The Management is terrible and lies just to get you in. Trust me I’m sending them to court. Terrible terrible I’m giving this ½ of a ½ star.

I talk with the Manager about his staff’s attitude, and yet they are still keeping that bitching attitude. DO NOT COME TO THIS APARTMENT IF YOU WANT A GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, HONESTLY.

I had such high hopes when i moved in here a few years back, i have since moved away. my apartment was ok. the unit itself has been repainted many times, and it was obvious to see where some put their fist through the wall at some point.
It seemed on a weekly basis that the water was off for one reason or another, the laundry room had broken units all the time. overall the building is falling apart and there was very bad termite damage in the garages. there were multiple times where i came out to my car with small piles of sawdust from the termites above.
having a garage is great, but having a neighbor that shares it and doesn’t care if the door is open or closed is a constant concern. don’t expect to have any valuables in the morning if you store them in the garage. I never had a problem with this, but garages were being broken into all the time.
The parking situation sucks. don’t bother having guests over. there are very few guest parking spots and neighborhood parking is permit only nearby. Also even if your car is registered they will tow it anyways. it happened to me. same car, same spot, registered got towed!
one thing that i really drove me crazy are the kids that run and scream and play in the courtyard areas, some of these kids belong to the maintenance personnel! if you like to sleep in and have a quiet day relaxing on a weekend, you definitely wont get it here.
As far as rent goes they get you in with a low rate, mine was about $ 1k /​month and after 3 years they wanted $ 1450. are you kidding me! for this place?!? walk away. move away and find a better place.
two major issues that the management seems to ignore is the homeless people raising the trash in the courtyards, and the trash areas. I’ve seen property management walk right past people trespassing and digging through trash and not even look at them or ask them to leave. the trash bin areas are a joke, I have personally seen trash diggers that have keys to the gates! and besides that trash is just thrown in there weather it ends up in a bin or not doesn’t seem to matter to anyone.
I would not recommend this place. keep driving and dont bother. and if you do live here get ready to be hit with a heavy bill for «damages» when you move out. even if you leave it in perfect condition.

Well I’m kind of on the fence about this place. On the plus side they allow large dogs and is a well maintained communal area. But on the down side there is limited parking so if someone visits they have to park a block away. The water is always being repaired but it’s usually off in the late morning early afternoon. The paint is horrible!!! You can look at it and it will peal. Just paint on paint. The laundry doesn’t take coin so you have a money card. It’s fine if the machine that puts money on was working. The website where you can make your payments for rent is also down. And the phone number is wrong and or disconnected. Other than all the annoying stuff the maintenance guys are nice and friendly and are pretty quick to fix anything, and all the apartments around me are pretty quiet. Not a bad place but it could be better for the price.

I have to say the apartments are really nice and spacious, I have a one room apartment with a back patio that is great size for a perfect patio set of four also great because its convenient for my puppy to do her thing. Pet deposit is outrageous $ 500 + $ 50 pet rent a month. Wasn’t happy to pay a total of $ 900 deposit, but what are your going to do? Haha. My rent was $ 1,250 when I first moved in 3÷20÷13 and has increased to $ 1,450 within this one year. Utilities are not included so in the long run I pay about $ 1,500, a bit pricy considering the location. Starting to feel as if I’m paying way to much for a one bedroom apartment in Stanton. Haven’t had much problems here just small things such as water always being cold and bathroom fan not working. There are a lot of dogs in this complex so of course once one dog starts barking they all do. Then that’s when you notice that your neighbors don’t really have manners because there screaming shut up at 4am *this is happening now. Well to get my point across the apartments are really nice, three big pools, BBQ areas, gym, laundry rooms, garages or car ports (*NOTE: there is not a lot of guess parking and they will tow without notice) spacious and updated units. Pricy until you realize you can save some money and live somewhere else, but won’t be as nice and safe (*24hour security) the price is worth it when you really don’t have a option these days, but overall this is my first apartment on my own and I’m satisfied.

My husband, daughter and I along with our large dog and cat have been living here for 6 months and we love it…
Noël the office manager and Jason are very friendly and helpful… The maintenance workers are quick to fix any problem even if it’s just changing a light bulb…
I was a little nervous about moving in here at first as most of the reviews I read were not good… But I did also notice that most of those reviews were old…
When we moved in our apartment it was super clean and move in ready… New paint and I think it was new carpet too at least it looked that clean…
Pre the other reviews we have not had any problems with ants or bugs (and I do leave dry dog and cat food out all day… no problem) and the water temperature is always nice and warm and so is the water pressure… I didn’t sign up for auto pay rent just because of past reviews and I didn’t want any late charges but it’s not a problem to easily stop by the front desk and leave a check…
We were able to move into a townhouse style unit with a washer and dryer but we did have to bring our own refrigerator… From my understanding some do come with refrigerators but not all with washer and dryers… We have a front unit facing Katella and if you notice on those front units they have new windows that block out any noise from the street…
The only real problem we have had is with the parking… They assign you a garage to share with someone else which is great but then the second spot (if you need one) is an extra $ 40 and it is assigned but if you have a large car like I do «some» spots can be a little squishy… I did address this problem to Jason and he easily fix the problem and moved me to a larger spot :)
The neighbors are quite and friendly and the playground, pool areas and small gym are kept up really well… The rent is reasonable and the fact that they take large dogs was a plus!!!
I have recommended this place to family and friends and would definitely recommend it to anyone else…
We plan on staying here until we buy our first house… :)

I could write a long story about my time living here. When we first moved in we had a really bad ant problem and the management gave us attitude about it. Our apartment flooded do to their bad plumbing and they never offered compensation and were going to leave all our furniture outside (on Katella Ave!) while they work on the problem and replace the flooring. They towed my car which had a parking sticker and didn’t contact me first, and nobody knew where my car went to.
Then we got new mgt. and due to their «upgrades» they came in our apt every few weeks for over a year. They raised the rent a hundred every year. Management has changed again and it finally seemed to be an ok place to live but they are so greedy. We were paying around $ 1400 with half a year of our lease left and they didn’t like that so after we paid the rent they said we didn’t pay the whole amount and it would be around $ 1900 (new rent amt + late fee because we didn’t pay this amt that we were never given notice about) We told them that we’re still under lease and they never gave us a notice to change our terms so they backed down. Next month paid the rent as usual, then at the end of the month they said they never received the last 2 months rent! Also sent us a notice saying they will not give us a new lease once it is up. At first I thought they made a mistake so I wrote them a notice that this is false and to correct it. Instead of correcting it they tried to evict us! That is so freaking cold! We paid our rent, have been great tenants for 7 years and this is how they treat us because renting our apartment for $ 1700 is more important.
To be fair, the apartments are really nice, we had a huge townhome with a nice sized patio and a garage. But parking for a second car or guests is non-​existent, your guests have to park across the street by the liquor store. Bums hang around and beg for money, it’s not the safest area, and traffic is noisy. For these prices you could do a lot better.
