Hansenhaus Kennels

The office is filthy with papers scattered all over the place and both dog hair and dust covers the floors. It takes way too long to have my dog groomed. I dropped her off at 10:00 am and was told to call to see when she was ready. I called at 12 and the girl who answer the phone said the groomer hasn’t even started on my dog. I asked her to call me back when my dog is ready and I got called at 5:00 pm. I latter learn my dog was locked in a cage for most of those hours.
In addition to grooming this place offers boarding. It is a ton cheaper than other boarding kennel, but you get for what you pay for. It doesn’t smell badly, but that is because I caught an employee spraying some air freshener. They took care of the dogs about as well as they clean their facility. I left a clean dog bed and it came back smelling like piss. I heard the girl tell the owner that they saw more rats in the back.
I almost forgot that the owner has her own dogs upfront. They bark at you, which is okay because dogs do bark, but she has 15 dogs or so. It really hurts my ears. Some of her dogs are groomed nicely but most of her own dogs look and smell bad. Needless to say I won’t be going back again.
