I’ve been taking my vehicles to Henry for the past 10 years. My Grandparents have been taking their vehicles to Henry for about 20 years. My whole family now takes their cars to Henry for repairs, maintenance and even oil changes. I just recently moved to San Diego and won’t take my car anywhere else but to Henry. He is worth the trip to Orange County.

I just had to post a review for Henry’s today, since I picked up my coworker today from Henry’s who was dropping off her car. Like the other two reviewers have stated he’s honest! As a woman, I always freak out about whether or not the mechanic will be honest or try to rip me off or better yet do something to my car on purpose to have me return. Ha!
I would highly recommend if you have a Japanese make car. I know that Henry has several customers from the company that I work for so he’s gotten a lot of referrals by word of mouth. Normally he’s the only guy working so service can be slow, so don’t expect to get an oil change within 15 – 20 minutes. Plan to drop it off and pick up at a later time. Lastly, if he can’t fix it or is not within his specialty, he will let you know.

Henry is the man! He is very honest and he gives you an accurate breakdown of everything he thinks he should do. I have gone to him twice with my wife’s car, and I have sent 2 other people to him. We all think he is wonderful.
My breaks were squeaking so I thought the pads needed to be replaced b/​c it was about that time on the mileage. Turns out they were fine, but he had to take all the tires off to find out and he cleaned the rotors while he was in there. It took about 45 minutes and he charged me only $ 20.
I would recommend him to anybody.

If you’ve got a Datsun/​Nissan or a Toyota, Henry’s is the place to go for your repair needs. These are his specialty. Henry can service Hondas, Mitsus or other import makes, but Nissans and Toyotas hold a special place in his heart. You can probably figure this out by checking out his early model Datsun wagon in the shop. I think it has almost all of its original parts.
Anyways, Henry has provided honest service to many people I know and I can honestly say that he’s not just looking to make some easy money off of you. He’s a straight-​laced guy who’ll tell you exactly what the problem is and what’s needed to fix it. No frills here either. Don’t expect a coffee bar or cable TV while you wait. You can wait at home while he wrenches away.
If you’re looking for a better-​than-​decent auto repairman that won’t screw you over, Henry’s the man for the job. Don’t forget though: imports only (Japanese for sure; Korean — dunno; European — don’t think so, but worth a shot). Sorry domestic owners…
