I was recommended to have my machine work done at Quality Cylinder Head Specialist by a friend of a friend. They are tucked in a business strip off of Dale near Cerritos. The shop has evidently been in business for a long time. This is a definite good sign. I have worked in a machine shop before and have a tool and die maker for a father. I can truly tell the work done at Quality Cylinder Head Specialist is the best around. I was impressed with how clean everything was when I received it back after the work was finished. I was in no rush, but they were able to return my Nissan KA24DE cylinder head in less than 24 hours from when I dropped it off. Their prices are very competitive and I could see why after one visit I was recommended to try their services.

I have been doing business with this shop since i was a mechanic there work is absolutely perfect every time, prices are always in the ball park of being affordable without sacrificing quality, i now own my own auto repair shop and i still continue to go threw then when i need machine work dont on my customers cars. Coben is always upfront and knowledgeable with any questions i have regarding the work being done, i will continue to do business with them as they have made me a loyal customer with there great work thanks to all the team at quality cylinder head

Really nice place to get your cylinder head resurfaced. Coban helps me to get my subaru forester heads resurfaced with in 30 min. Since i drove all the way from torrance.

This is as good as it gets! These guys are AWESOME! I needed a cylinder head worked on for a 2005 S281 Mustang and spoke with Coban L. He went above and beyond expectations.
Not only did he give me a great price on the cylinder head, he hand delivered it to me the same day because I explained it to him that I needed it for the track this weekend. I installed it yesterday and she started on the 1^st try. No runs, drips or errors my engine bay has never been so smooth, I look forward to doing business with Quality Cylinder Heads in the future and I will recommend this company to everyone I know. I’ll be coming here from now on. You can’t beat a business who’s owner (can’t recall his name) is always present making sure the work being done is dialed in. He’s also actually doing the work too even though there’s employees. This is the way I operate my business so I can appreciate the effort. Let me just say the work was spot on. I brought a 4 cyl Volvo head that the owner had blown a headgasket on, it looked like the owner drove the car repeatedly after knowing of the issues, the majority of the valves were very coked over to the point I could not remove with Berrymans carb cleaner, the coking basically turned to stone on my valves. You wouldn’t be able to tell if there were burnt valves just by looking there was so much junk stuck to them. He explained everything and told me he’d let me know if he ran into anything. Just want you to know he could have sold me extra labor and valves but he didn’t. Super honest and high quality work. VERY fair prices on QUALITY work. Remember guys it’s not always about price. It’s value youre buying. Which shocked me when he told me the cost which happened to be a bargain on the quality I received. If I remember correctly it was 190 to resurface, clean, regrind valves and buy new seals which he ordered and installed. Very impressed. I’ll be coming here even if I move away. Cars runs like new! Had a few cylinder heads worked on by these guys throughout the years, never had any issues. They are very knowledgeable and to the point/​have fairly quick turn around times. Nice to have a local shop like this at an affordable rate!

Quality cylinder head is the only head shop I will use. I’ve tried other shops and never got the consistent high quality work that Quality produces. Ive been going to them for years now and wont even waste my time and money anywhere else. For the quality of work that they do, their prices are very fair.
If you want a shop with professional and trustworthy people, this is the place to go!

Aloha everyone! I highly recommend coming here. They have rebuilt my heads for both off my cars. My 1990 4Runner and my sons 93 Acura legend and the turn around time was quick. I mean when i took my heads in for my 4 Runner, i had them do a resurface and i waited there no more than 45 min to an 1 hour. The Acura had a few BENT VALVES AND was fully REBUILT AND RESURFACED by them and the day i dropped both heads off in the late afternoon they told me it would be done tomorrow evening just cause they special ordered parts i asked for like the complete HEAD GASKET KIT for a great price. I know if i needed just the heads with out the gasket kit i can count on them getting the job done in a few hours. COBAN LE was the person who help me. Awsome customer service, fast turn around, ALL IN HOUSE MACHINE SHOP, quality work to the T, and one last thing great price. Mahalo so much for your service.
