I’m actually writing a review based on my experience sub-contracting Tint Matters in my respective industry which is Architectural glass. We have many projects both commercial and high-end design residences that give us the opportunity to assist with after thoughts when window film and graphics come to mind for visual art, energy efficiency or privacy. Despite the scope of work, we can always depend on Tint Matters to complete a project with quality finish in mind and in a timely manner. Tint Matters has the bonding, insurance and necessary man power to assist with a fast paced projects or at your pace. We feel very confident allowing TM to access homes and commercial space under our umbrella and represent us and at the same time providing quality service. They offer free estimates for both commercial/residential and cover a vast area of real estate which makes them very competitive through out the greater Los Angeles basin. A full line of sample films from the finest in the industry are presented for helping with your design and needs. Industry name brands such as Solar Gard, 3M, Llumar to name a few. With so much available, your selection is endless. Like for example if your glass at home or commercial lobby space is clear glass and you’re considering on investing to reduce your energy cost by applying a window film that will reduce the amount sunlight in peak summer months and lower UV rays by eventually saving your curtains or rug from sun damage(fade), window film is a good alternate over having glass replaced which could eventually have a drastic cost impact. Tint Matters can also assist with Vinyl graphics and have the equipment to utilized CAD and incorporate a plotter machine to run mass production. Unfortunately TM does not have automobile tint services but needless to say, once they’re at your place and doing contracted work, don’t hesitate to ask if they would consider servicing your car’s in the comfort of your home in your garage. I’m also a big believer in applying window film over clear anneal glass for safety purposes. By applying a clear safety film over glass that is not considered«safety glass» like tempered or laminate. Older homes and new still have standard anneal glass that breaks easily in large shards of glass that can cause damage to furniture or humans. Building code works in strange ways both commercial and residential. Any glass that actually starts from the ground up, needs to be classified as safety glass by law unless it was installed prior to the 1960’s when it wasn’t recognized. Typically windows in a home that are waist high by law can be installed«annealed» and meet code. This is where I believe in the interest of your family members and little kiddos, why not prevent a possible glass related injury and rest assured if your glass does break because of a object thrown at it with a smile, the breakage will remain intact because of window film applied in advance to help sustain glass in place and not fall out. Visit TM’s website and get a first glance at state of the art window film with quality in mind. You’ll see how many facets window film has with today’s modern demands. Keeping it real :)

BLOT: For the house or business, these guys are the way to go! ********************* Our house faces west, and it gets baked on a daily basis. Even though we have double paned glass, you can feel the heat coming off the blinds. Pictures on the walls were beginning to fade, and we were really concerned with our wood furniture. We have some really high windows in our main room, with some being bullet shaped. Blinds were not really an option because they’d all have to be custom cut, and we’d have to order remote controlled/motorized ones due to their height. So we decided to tint them! Tint Matters installed solar guard reflective tint on about 80 square feet of windows. There is virtually no heat coming through the windows, UV is cut to almost zero and as a bonus people can’t see in during the day. I highly recommend them, and will probably have them back to do some of the upstairs bedrooms that also face west.
