Second time here and it was another home run. The food is so flavorful and the portions generous. Drinks were worthy of the price and staff friendly. No we do not worrk here and do not know the owners. Just really had a good experience. Wiil def come back

I do have my favorites but have ordered a lot of different things from the menu and have never been disappointed. A lot of restaurants have really runny retried beans. I’m not sure what Ixtapa does differently but they are definitely not runny. You also get the beans as a dip with the standard salsa for your tortilla chips. My husbands favorite is the skirt steak asadas. I don’t have only one favorite.
The staff is what absolutely makes the restaurant. They are very nice and anticipate your needs almost before you do. We never have an empty cup for long.
