I must say I was overwhelmed by their menu it’s like an encyclopedia. Ordered Pad Thai w/crispy noodles and it was very good, but I really liked the Tom Kha Gai soup w/prawns. I will definitely who back.

A pleasant experience I must say!!! The food was well worth the prices. Specifically, honey walnut shrimp, it was very crispy and delicious as well as the sauce(definitely on point). I would definitely recommend it as well as the«super crazy crispy pad Thai», VERYUNIQUEAND A MUSTTRY. Our waiter, Nathan, was fast and efficient. Attire was clean and professional. The place itself is decorative and organized with a good sense of Asian culture. All in all, a great experience here, definitely will come back.

This is by far the most authentic asian food you will find in the area. The noodle dishes are all excellent. They’re also very family friendly.

The food is always good. I would recommend take out if you don’t want to wait around. Their service is always slow no matter the time of day.

Four years on Camano Island and always a pleasure to head into Stanwood for the diverse pan-Asian menu of The Chatter Box. You make no concessions on quality whichever corner of south and east Asia you dip your chopsticks into. Familiar dishes like Pad Thai, spring rolls and seafood noodles are delectability on a plate. And numerous unfamiliar dishes from spots like Malaysia also provide a lovely blend of flavors and spices. It’s not really a big place, yet there are four or five distinct dining areas, so the place feels kind of cozy, although the surfaces tend to be hard. The servers know the menu very well and are always mindful of your time or simply when your glass has bottomed out. I was so glad that The Chatter Box made it in Stanwood. A restaurant with some fairly bold culinary ambitions is a real sink or swim proposition in this less-traveled region of the Puget Sound. Clearly things are going swimmingly for the restaurant as it must be close to eight years that it’s been operating.

Haven’t had a bad visit here since they opened! Virtually everything on their menu tastes great, price is good too. I usually have one of their curry dishes, can’t go wrong

I ordered pad thai with four of five stars for spiciness, it tasted like ketchup and was not spicy at all. The portion was fairly small given the price, too. I ordered the Bangkok rolls and was shocked at how small they were given the price. I ordered some tea and was charged like $ 1.75 for plain tea. Isn’t that typically complementary at an asian restaurant? I had to chase down the server to ask for something because he didn’t return to the table. There is NOTHING more offensive than providing the calculations for the tip percentages at the bottom of a check. No thanks. This place charges Seattle prices in Stanwood for sub par food and service. Not going back.

This is not just a long way from the Lake Wobegon Chatter Box Café, it’s a world away. Asian fusion that features Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine is all prepared fresh and delicious. Been here a few times and tried a different dish each time. All well prepared. The only drawback I find is the lengthy menu that takes 20 minutes to review. There’s gotta be something here you’ll love.

We had wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. We ordered laksa curry noddles, basil chicken fried rice and spicy garlic beef stir fry and pad thai combo plate. All of the dishes were very good! Will definitely go back again!

We weren’t sure what to expect when the sign reads Malaysian, Thai, and Indian; but the food was very good! Lovely interior, nice outdoor terrace, eclectic wall art… The people are very nice. Overall, I would definitely make this one of my regular spots if I lived here.

Last meal we had there was sub-par, we had a guest visiting and no one was that satisfied with their meal. Everything tasted thrown together with last minute seasoning on top, nothing was really prepared well. It was maybe a half hour before closing and they seemed in a hurry. I hope it improves, we really do like this place.

Best Panang I have had stateside, but that isn’t a large sample, maybe 4 restaurants so far. It was thick how I like it and the heat was right at a #2. The service was excellent and we will for sure go back and maybe try the fried rice.

I have eaten here several times and each time I kept hoping I would be wowed by something. I know many people who love this place, hence why I kept going back, but I just honestly don’t care for it. The restaurant offers many different styles of food: Thai, American, Indian, Chinese, etc and I think that is their problem. Because they don’t focus on one style of food and work on making it the best it can be and as a result everything just falls short. Overall, I cannot give it 1 star because the place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is just not there and it is just barely better than food court mall food.

The menu is an eclectic blend of Thai, Malaysian and Asian… but every thing was delicious! The crab rangoon was light and airy… I opted for the Coconut Chicken Fried Rice… which seemed an odd combo… but was really well prepared and wonderful. Service was quick, friendly and efficient… The place filled quickly with locals who knew the dinner choices. …I will be back explore the menu for sure! The special was Golden duck… will try it next!

I’ve been coming here on and off for six years, and the menu has grown exponentially in that time. I swear, there must be over a hundred different dishes on the menu, of all flavors asian. If you don’t like asian food(and they have EVERY flavor, even malaysian which feels like a cross between thai and indian) they’ll cook you a regular old burger. There is something for every palate on the menu, and all of it is good. I’ve never had a disappointing meal here, and I’ve always discovered a new dish or taste every visit. Go.

This place is probably the best bang for your buck in town. Great food but tones of choices. Friendly people.

Most of the stuff here is pretty good, and there is a wide variety of items on the menu to choose from. Some of my favorites are the panang curry, the pad thai, the crispy garlic chicken, the beef rendang(a Malaysian curry), and heavenly beef. They lose one star because the peanut sauce is surprisingly bland. It was like slighly sweetened warmed up creamy peanut butter. It was not horrid, and we ate all of the satay we had ordered, but given how good most of the other items were I was a little surprised at how pedestrian it was. My extremely picky youngest son informed me the American portion of the menu — a cheeseburger — was good but not great. One other very minor complaint — sometimes the piped-in Asian-style music could stand to be turned down a little. But otherwise the renovated old house the restaurant is in is quite lovely. Parking seems decent, and there is outdoor seating for the nice weather times.
