The Cookie Mill

My friend and I stopped here for lunch. The location and parking were decent, the restaurant interior bright and clean. They were very busy but the staff was still very friendly and attentive. We placed our order, I have the Snow Goose — turkey sandwich and a cup of minestrone soup, he had the Holstein — roast beef. The food came quickly and was nicely presented. The sandwiches were fresh and very tasty, no complaints at all. The soup tasted home made and was satisfying. The only point of contention that we saw was that it was a little bit noisy, but not unbearable, and the seats were a bit hard. Otherwise — it was great! I especially loved the window seating. We ordered cookies to go, my friend said his Lemon Snickerdoodle was very good, soft and great flavor. I’ve not yet tried mine, but am looking forward to it. We will definitely return and recommend!

My husband and I were excited to try this place out after hearing great reviews, but we were quite disappointed in our experience. Soggy would be the best word to describe both of our meals. The staff was friendly enough though it took about 15 – 20 minutes to get our salad and sandwich which seemed excessive because it wasn’t busy. My husband got a salad that was inedible because it was soggy as it was completely saturated in dressing. I asked for a very plain sandwich due to food allergies, and specified exactly what I wanted on it. I was disappointed when I bit into a wet, warm chicken sandwich that was dripping in some type of sesame type dressing– really did not go well with the plain chicken, lettuce, and cheese sandwich I requested. Plus when someone has food allergies, you really shouldn’t put stuff on there without asking. It seemed like the chicken on both of our meals was canned. Now mind you, children were making our food so perhaps that is why it was so bad on this occasion. My husband greatly enjoyed the baked good he got from there, so treats may be more of their strong point.

More concerned with locking the doors at 4pm than selling food at 3:40 pm. If you want to walk out and lock the door at 4, just close at 3:30.

Very clean and friendly place. They have everything from breakfast and lunch, to I team and pastries. My kids love the food and the cookies are huge and delicious. A bit pricier than I expected but the food is worth the cost. And the customer service is great. We will definitely be returning.

The Cookie Mill is the best thing that happened to Stanwood Camano Island and so glad to hear its back! Lemon-​doodle cookies are the best! Honestly anything you order, you can’t go wrong… Its comfort food at its best! If you are in or near Stanwood this is a must try!

I love coming here to just chill out and relax– The restaurant is small but clean and open. Great place for a quick bite or just hang out on your laptop. Very clean eating with very good pricing. The homemade soup, salad, and bread is fresh and delicious. Free WiFi YAY! Everything I have ever ordered here is very fresh and the service is friendly.

My father and I were looking for a place to eat and we saw the Cookie Mill, and it was extremely tasty. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. As well as good food, it was also decently priced too. 5 stars and would recommend for a dining location.

So glad The Cookie Mill is back & even better than before, if that’s possible. Their food is excellent, the service is top-​notch & the ambience is good. A friend & I both had sandwiches that were delicious. She loved her soup & my salad was excellent. We each had a cookie – heaven on a plate!

What a great place to kick back with a cup of coffee and a sweet treat. It was hopping the whole time I was there. So I was presently surprised when my order was served to my quickly from a the waitress with a smile.
Highly recommend this little slice of heaven.
I will defiantly be back!

Stanwood needs more quality restaurants like this. Great cookies, soups, salads and sandwiches. Service and atmosphere is delightful. Bring your friends for lunch or coffee

It’s back, re-​opening on Monday, 1 December 2014.

As the name implies this place has the most delicious cookies. The Mocha Walnut are my personal faves, but all the rest are delish as well. I also highly recommend the Belgian Waffles — Mmmm Mmm good!
