I remember visiting the manager years ago and was impressed as he showed us around. One of my cousin’s kids was looking for a place within walking or biking distance of MSU. It was close enough, so we made the decision to move an older used trailer there for the 2 years. I went by recently, there was no manager on duty, only a laminated sign on door with phone number to contact. Trash was overfull in mail room, I thought well, that could be a day or two and just hadn’t been dumped yet. I decided to drive around and reminisce a bit. Wow, what a difference the years have made. Trailers with metal roofs rusting, some with shingles that have fallen apart, inop cars parked on grass, middle of road, one looks like it’d been turned into a trash container/holder of dog food, multiple flats. More than one home had full trash cans outside near front door, trash scattered throughout the park. Upper side where my cousin lived looks like a dumping site now. Sadly what a difference the years have made and not a positive one at all. such a great location, but no care being taken with it now. Roads in disrepair, cars zooming in and out, one even on wrong side of «gated entrance and exit.» So sad, indeed. More empty lots than I’d ever seen before on previous visits. NOW, it would not be even a thought about living there. New owners, new management, downhill is an understatement.
