i had an appointment with Stein, who mannerisms were nothing shy of uncomfortable. i had a tooth extracted and requested a general anesthetic. it took Stein 3 times to find a vein and each attempt he seemed as if he had no idea what he was doing. the nurses were fine, just if you must go to Tri-County, since they’re one of the only oral surgeons who take insurance, please request someone other than Stein.

i had an appointment there a few years ago and a Unilocal review a while back that has been removed, I believe. In that review I noted that there were x-rays taken twice(first one one was done sloppily), and I had to wait 45 min. after my appointment. all-in-all, although my dentist recommended Stein, I found his manner stressful.(perhaps he himself was having a very busy day). I left in somewhat in a panic, and I won’t go back.

I recently got 4 wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Engroff at Tri-County. He is hands down the best dentist I have ever seen! His extremely personable manner, his knowledge, and calm demeanor completely put me at ease and made the procedure extremely easy. I was told by multiple dentists that I would need stitches, that it would be a very painful procedure, etc. Dr. Engroff not only made it a painless procedure, but he also took his time and avoided giving stitches, helping me heal much faster. His office is run exceptionally well, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. My only complaint is that the main receptionist is not as professional as one would expect for such a fantastic office. Her lack of professionalism diminishes the greatness of the rest in the office. Thank you Dr. Engroff!
