We love this park! I could echo what everyone else says — great gardens, paths, tennis courts, views, wide open spaces … but one other important perk is the bathrooms. There are real bathrooms, folks, which are generally well-lit and clean. There’s also a new play-structure going in, next to the tennis courts, which will be great for older children. Right now(in April, 2016) the area is roped off, and it looks like they still need to finalize the landscaping/ground cover, but we’re looking forward to trying it out when it’s ready!

Great park to walk around, to jog, to play sports or to host a BBC with friends! It’s a very nice park and it’s very clean!

What a great park! We made a detour here yesterday on a road trip, and will definitely stop by again on the way back. We came for the dog park, but also enjoyed a lovely walk along the trails. The dog park is a little hard to find. If you’re bringing Fido, you might prefer to skip the main entrance and come in through the side street at the farm. From the main entrance, the park is located past the tennis court, past the open field, past the horse pasture, next to the farm house. Pros: — separate areas for small and large dogs — covered area with seating for humans — drinking fountains for people and pups — the enclosures are big enough for the dogs to run around — abandoned tennis balls EVERYWHERE Cons: — there’s no signage in the park to show you which way to go, and the dog park is kind of hard to get to from the main entrance the drinking fountains seemed to be shut off for the winter, even though it was nearly 70 degrees out — while the enclosures are decently sized, if there were more than 5 – 10 dogs, it wouldn’t be big enough for them to really run safely — grass and dirt cover only, which get very muddy during/after rain This park is beautiful, and we’ll definitely stop by again the next time we pass through town! Next time we’ll park at the back entrance, bring water with us from the car, wear waterproof shoes, and bring a towel ;)

Tudek Park is our favorite place in State College! They have a gorgeous butterfly garden, a large dog park with two areas for small/large dogs, lots of benches, beautiful views, tennis courts, playing fields, the works. The walking path going around the park always makes for a nice walk or jog. It’s just a lively and happy place.

PA is full of town parks. Centre County has some of the best in the state. Tudek is no exception to that. It has just about everything you would want in a rural park. There is a modern playground. There are athletic courts and fields. There is a really nice walking trail. There are several things that set this one apart, though. It has a dog park, for one. This is something uncommon in this part of the state. The other unique feature is a butterfly garden. It is quite beautiful and scientifically correct for the species of butterfly and bees in this part of the state. There is even a yearly educational program called Wings in the Park which was going on the day we got there. The program had activity stations set up with educational«questions» to help the young and old, alike, learn about the butterfly. There was even a station about bees. This program had information on new methods for growing perennials that are friendly to the butterfly. They had information on conservation efforts in effect in order to save the rapidly disappearing Monarch butterfly. Back to the park itself. The main trail winds through some fields. One of which appears to be a horse pasture. It is really odd, too. You would think with the developments nearby, that you would feel like you were in the middle of a residential area. You don’t feel that way. It feels completely rural and relaxing. I imagine this would be a great place to go for a jog. The main trail is paved. But there are little grass covered trails and reflection spots throughout the butterfly garden. So with all this, I can really highly recommend this park. One of the top ones I have been to in along time. I mean… butterfly garden? Yep, with sunflowers, semi exotic looking native birds, and natural beauty, this would be a great place to visit daily.

Great park with tons of trails and fields. Nice place to watch the fireworks on July 4th. There’s also a butterfly garden and a dog park on the grounds.
