Dined at this restaurant after a Penn State home game, I was not impressed. There was used napkins and food on the floor. The garbage can had ketchup and other food particles running down the front of it, looked as though no one took the time to periodically clean. I had the chicken and waffles which sounded good but was not. The chicken was overcooked and heavily seasoned. All you tasted was the seasoning and not chicken. The waffle was dense and dry. It was overcooked to the point you could see the black burnt areas on one side and the other side was pretty dark as well. The fries were undercooked and heavily seasoned as well. The burgers looked good, should have gone with one of them.

Only ever get the same thing from here: a Zico Meeko crêpe & it is the greatest crêpe I have ever had! They are delicious and the perfect size to fill me up, sometimes I can’t finish them. Delivery is horrible though. They take 1 hour minimum between order and delivery time. I would only go in store.

UGBC provided fantastic crepes via catering onsite for our resident appreciation at The Villas of Happy Valley! Thank you!

Ordered the Underground Burger and Fries. Burger: the beef patty was overlooked and not at all juicy, the bread was stale, and the vegetable toppings weren’t fresh, I have had better burgers in east halls. Fries: cold and flavorless, I normally love fries but I couldn’t stomach it

We split a Strawberry Patch Crêpe tonight. The crêpe was very tender, choke full of fresh strawberries with just the perfect amount of fresh lemon juice. delicious! Very well plated, it tasted even better than it looked! The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Really liked the chalkboard Doodle Room too. We will definitely be returning!

I ordered one of their strawberry crepes and it arrived with no strawberries in it. It is the most unappetizing looking crêpe I have ever seen. The crêpe was just doused in syrup or something. I called the store to complain and they said they could make me another one but I wasn’t interested. I really want my money back for my order. This is just awful. I would not recommend to anyone. That and I took a bite and now I’m scared I’ll get sick. If I could add a picture of my crêpe I would it arrived disgusting and I can’t help but feel like throwing it out is basically throwing my money down the trash with it.

This place is okay. The burgers are pretty good but can be cooked unevenly in my opinion, but not too unevenly not to buy one. The fries are awesome and I had the crepes at the previous location and they were good. Overall though, they are just too expensive. Also, although I know it’s probably because of the owner’s Religion, turkey bacon is no substitute for real bacon. It just doesn’t taste the same. It’s is very clean inside though and the staff is friendly. I’ll probably end up going back, but only if someone I’m eating with picks the restaurant.

My burger was literally not cooked in the middle. After paying 10 dollars I could not even eat it because I was worried about getting sick :(also I didn’t get a pickle spear which they say comes with every burger. The fries were ok though.

The positives: friendly staff, food delivered quickly, and clean environment. Unfortunately the negatives really ruin the whole experience. I ordered a burger, and the patty itself was almost raw in spots. That’s a very bad sign. Either the burger was frozen or the line cook they have is horrible. I even made sure to ask for well-done. The fries are pretty much processed, frozen fries, even if they are fried right there. I didn’t get any sort of pickle spear that these burgers are supposed to come with. I asked for lettuce, but didn’t get even one shred of it. The grilled onions(they call them sauted onions) were really just raw onions thrown on a grill for a few seconds to burn the edges but not really cook them. And the tomatoes were HUGE slices. That might sound good, but when they’re an inch thick they ruin a burger. What’s wrong with this place? Is this location cursed? Baja Fresh here was fantastic, but the owners closed shop. Then Nathan’s moved in and it was horrible. Sure enough, the shop closed. Now this place, and it’s also bad. I foresee it closing down soon as well.

A few friends and I decided to check this place out since it’s new. Décor is pretty nice and it looks clean. The burger wasn’t exactly cheap and it wasn’t that great. They screwed up my order and when I went back the guy just added half assed sauteed onions, when my friend got perfect ones. Not to mention he just slapped it on top of the onions I already had on mine(I asked to switch out regular ones for sauteed ones). The burger was overdone and really dry and the fries were soggy, but okay.

The owner was very nice, but it was probably the worst burger that I have ever had. I went with two friends during arts fest. 1) The burger was supposed to be fresh ground beef, but it had the taste and texture of a frozen patty. 2) Half pound burgers are great if you cook them medium or medium rare. Well done half pound burgers are dry and terrible. Five guys is 100 times better. 3) The french fries were terrible frozen garbage. Five guys blows them away. 4) Ketchup. 5) Ketchup. 6) If you took the amount of ketchup that I eat in a year, that would be how much was on ONE side of this burger. They put condiments on both sides of the burger in ludicrous proportions. My friends burger was the same: mayo, mustard, and ketchup oozing out of the toothpick hole like pus. I have never seen that before. Like I said, the owner was nice so I hope he fixes all these problems.

First time here and we’re already planning on being back. These crepes come out a lot faster and cleaner than the ones in Joie De Crepes under Levels. They have Build-Your-Own Savory Crepes, Sweet Crepes and Burgers, but the ones already on the menu are already mouth-watering. It’s been a very good first-impression experience.

I have yet to try the crêpes, so this just covers the burgers. The burgers are big. ½ point to be exact. Add toppings and you’re looking at a large meal, especially for the price. The fries come with the meal, and they’re average, but totally satisfactory(how do you screw up fries?). Service is excellent. We were given a 20% discount for being first time customers there. The atmosphere is great as well. Good lighting and neat décor. Businesses in this location haven’t done super well in the past, so I hope this one does well. Edited 8÷4÷14: I went back for the crêpes, and they are good. they are decently sized and are not overstuffed. I sampled a s’mores themed crêpe and a classic strawberry and nutella crêpe. They were both delicious. The one drawback is the cost: the crêpes are as expensive as the burgers which is a little frustrating to me.
