This review is for Koming ! I am so pleased with my nails and the work she does that I’m very happy I found her at Bliss salon. I would recommend her to anyone but I also want to keep her a secret haha ! I love my gel nails and she is amazing at what she does. Not to mention an expert when it comes to designs! Also, her pedicures are very nice and she uses amazing homemade natural products! You can receive the royal treatment by appointment only :) thank you Ming you rock

I have had my nails professionally done for about 12 years now, and she is by far the most courteous and sweet person I have been to. She does SUCH an amazing job I have been sending so many people to her. She takes her time and makes sure she does things perfectly. Any style, any design, she nails it!

Laura was amazing! She did an excellent job fixing my nails and leaving them just the way I wanted.

Recently I had my nails done @ bliss nail salon a new edition that laura has hired named Koming! My appointment was on Sunday & I arrived a little early & the shop was nice & tidy, & I was immediately greeted by koming asking if I’d like anything to drink very nice.
I then took my seat @ her station very clean her supplies were all neatly layed out & clean she asked to see the design I had in mind, I showed it to her (let me mention amazing artist my idea was plain but if you dream it she can do it-​Pinterest) I needed tips because I’ve nubs & she used gel over them absolutely beautiful!
Her professionalism was amazing it was a breath of fresh air to go into a salon & not have your business streamed across the tahoe tribune, she wasn’t a gossip which I really appreciate held great conversation about real things not other people!
I couldn’t wait to reschedule & grab some of her business cards & hand them out to friends & strangers her vibe is so uplifting & not to mention she is extremely affordable! She guarantee her work! Now to dream up my next design for my nails! I’ve found my new manicurist!

I went to Bliss the Thursday before I got married in Lake Tahoe on a Sunday. I found the salon through Unilocal and it had high reviews and was located close to my venue so I gave it a try. Laura, the owner was amazing! I had a full set and a pedicure done and she did a great job. She was also a great conversationalist which is something you care about when getting your nails done. She even gave me a ride back to my venue because my fiancé was busy unloading things. I was so pleased with the job she did and just her in general, I highly recommend this place!

Was here 5÷31÷13; enjoyed my shellac mani and basic pedi by Staci. The shop has very friendly people that you can actually hold a conversation with, which is a big plus in my book. My cuticles weren’t nicked and my nails were shaped nicely, no one was pushy with up-​sales, and Staci even threw in a free callus remover treatment. I also had the chance to see a couple of the hair stylist’s clients’ results (don’t know her name but shes got short blond hair) and wow, she’s terrific with color, cuts, and styling too. A great find for this out of towner with high expectations. I’ll be back. :]

Very nice, affordable, high end professional salon offering something beautiful and flattering for everyone. A must try spot for the local and visitors alike! I really enjoyed chatting with the Owner Laura, what a sweety!

I went to Bliss Salon and recieved a double fill from Laura. I hate getting fills because
they always look old to me but they looked amazing and three weeks later still look amazing. I am so bummed that I live in San Diego and can’t go back. Highly highly recommended.

Bliss did an AMAZING job handling THIRTEEN women the day before my wedding. Everyone loved their nails, and they even provided us with breakfast snacks. I treated my bridal party to mani/​pedis and we were all welcome to use the patio, bring champagne for mimosas and hang out all morning while rotating for treatments. The cost was more than reasonable, and paying for a large group was so simple. We all had such a good time — friendly staff, great location and space, and high quality services! Thank you!

I am a regular and have the best service by Laura, the owner, always. But recently I took two friends there. One had a pedicure and loved it. The other had acrylic nails and has vowed to never go back to her old nail place, the quality at Bliss is so superior! She’s now a regular, too.

I have my nails done here e every time I trave to the area. The atmosphere is AMAZING, friendly staff, custom nail art and colors for acrylics and gels. Great place to host wedding parties for spa day. They have a huge deck to relaxing on in the summer time.

She goes here on a regular basis. It is a great location for her since it is just down the hill.
She is very pleased with the service and quality of the work. And since I get to see the end result I think they do a quality job for the price.
This nail salon is near the casinos and I know they will do special occasion nails, weddings etc.

The gals were friendly and the place was nice but for the price I’ve had better mani/pedi’s. It could just be the area and I’m spoiled by my local surroundings, but my mani had little bubbles and lasted less than a week and the pedi started chipping within a couple.
It was also awkward to have my feet done under the table but on the gal’s lap, didn’t really do anything nice for my back. And while we were not in a hurry, speed was not on the list of priorities.

I’m a guy but needed to entertain two of my young (7 and 11) daughters for a day (April 16, 2011) and they wanted manicure. I was renting a house in Stateline and calling all over South Lake Tahoe — most places were closed on Saturday, or at least closed during the Spring slow season. Then I found my «Bliss» just a few blocks away.
They were extremely good with my kids, offering snacks and chatting with them while I escaped to their 2^nd story outdoor balcony to view the mountains and read a paper. The nails looked great, not that I care. My older daughter wanted «flames» which the lady had never done before but they came out great.
If you are located anywhere near the casinos in S. Lake Tahoe or anywhere in Stateline, NV, I recommend this. They are right on 207 right behind «Thai One» restaurant. So, if you are heading up to ski or down from skiing at Heavenly at Stagecoach or Bolder you’ll pass right by this place and can keep the kids happy after skiing — that’s what I did.

I am a south lake tahoe local and recommend bliss salon to everyone! Laura does an amazing job! I get compliments on my nails on a daily basis. If you want a truly relaxing and fun experience, go to bliss salon.

Great place and great people!

I visited Bliss Salon a few days ago while in Tahoe. My husband was snowboarding and I had a little less than nothing to do. It was freezing outside but when I got in to Bliss the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The salon was super cute. The owner did my manicure and she did a really nice job. Sure there was a lot of small talk as another reviewer complained about but wouldn’t you rather that over someone who spends the whole time speaking to someone else in another language at a million miles per hour, all the while making you wonder if they are talking about you? I will defintiely be back to Bliss on my next Tahoe trip.

My daughter and I were in South Lake Tahoe shopping and keeping busy while my husband skied for a few days and decided to get pedicures. We called earlier in the day and got in for a late afternoon appointment the same day. The owner Laura was friendly and knowledgable and made us feel right at home immediately. Relaxing atmosphere and we will definitely be back the next time we are in SLT!

Although Bliss was recommended by a friend, I had a very disappointing experience with this salon. I called ahead and made an appointment. They knew I was local and looking for a good regular pedicure. It took 3 hours start to finish for a mani-​pedi. The owner and my manicurist had extended conversations about ordering supplies. The manicurist took personal calls. My feet sat in water for over an hour and a half. (She at least changed the water 3 times, so it wasn’t cold). The position of the pedicure was uncomfortable (in the manicurist’s lap under the manicure table). By the end, I was exhausted from all the small talk. And they only take cash, but didn’t tell me ahead of time. The end result: my nails were bubbled and my heels had rough spots. I went back to pay cash and showed the owner my nails. She not only didn’t apologize, but didn’t offer to fix them or a discount or anything. At $ 60 before tip, it had me longing for the mediocre mani-​pedi down the street.

While visiting Tahoe I needed a gel overlay fill and found Bliss. Keri did my nails with the Xtreme gel line and she did a PERFECT job. She took special care and attention to my nails and they lasted forever. I loved the outcome and she knows what she is doing. I wish I could transport her to San Francisco because I just had them filled and they aren’t up to standard. I’ll be back to see her when I’m in the area.
