I had my wedding at Harvey’s recently and could not be more statisfied with the Wedding Chapel there. They were on top of all that I asked them to do, everything went off on time and they had arranged for the photographer afterwards and they did a great job as well. Considering that I did all this from 300 miles away I could not have asked for a romantic venue. I stayed in the hotel and had a suite which was over the moon and dinner upstairs which was also over the moon. Just an idea but I wouldn’t hesitate to get married here!

My husband and I got married here and everything went great! Ron and his staff worked with me for months over the phone since I live in Washington State and everything went as planned. I recommend using this chapel if you want an affordable and stress-free wedding! I would have given a higher review but I was disappointed in our photos which were very generic(however for the price I shouldn’t complain as the photographer was fairly inexpensive). The chapel itself REALLY could use a renovation. The view is perfect and the size is great but the rose color carpet and fake flowers and plants were very outdated.

Ron and staff were very patient and accommodating to all of our requests. Facility’s are clean and great for weddings of all sizes. only reason its not a 5 star ratting is photographer could have been a little better, seemed like he was in a hurry but everyone else was fantastic

My brother and wife just got married here this week. I booked last minute and basically decided to go with this place based on pictures off of the internet(I was nervous that this place would be a dive). I called on the phone several times with lots of questions. The lady(can’t remember her name) was very kind and patient with me. When I finally called back and booked I spoke with Zack. He was equally kind. Once we arrived on the day of the wedding we were immediately greeted by Zack. He explained all the paper work and what we needed to do(which was not much, because Rev. Ron took care of everything). We also couldn’t have asked for a nicer person than Rev. Ron. My brothers wife speaks very limited English, but he was very patient and explained things several times as I translated. The pictures on their website are true to life. The bottom of the windows are frosted tree scenery and the top lets in natural sunlight and a view of trees and mountain. Most everything in the Chapel(chairs, art. flowers, etc.) are off white color. This place was clean and classy. Two thumbs up! I recommend this Chapel to anyone who wants to get married in Lake Tahoe.

I used to work in the wedding business so I’ve known Ron Sayad for a long time. I was so happy when I went to book him as the minister for my own wedding ceremony and he was available! He does a really nice ceremony and tailored it to our requests. Ron is just the NICEST person, he was great at directing family and is such a positive influence and was very calming. Although he works out of the Chapel at Harveys, I had my wedding offsite at a local event space(he will travel to the beach, another chapel, etc. if you want to have your ceremony elsewhere). Thanks Ron, for such an awesome ceremony!

Attended for a wedding, no idea what it’s like to work with Harvey’s to plan the event. The interior of the chapel is clean but slightly used. They should opt for some new carpeting. The existing carpet is literally failing at the seems. Inside, there are about 60 white chairs with nice chair covers. Clean and white. Catered food was delicious with options for roast beef, salmon, or veggie dish. Nothing to complain about. A-OK in my book. Would love to attend another wedding in South Lake!
