Terrable the girls in the front are ignorant and rude and the place is dirty. I know there is bugs and insects in all food places but when they are on top of your cookies and staring at you yuk is all I can say.

This bakery is fairly close to me but even if it wasn’t I would go out of my way to go there! Their pastries are out of this world and don’t even get me started on their cakes. As for the other reviews about their staff… I’ve been here numerous times where I have witnessed customers yelling at the poor girls behind the counter for things they have no control over. Don’t you people have daughters it’s astonishing to watch how nasty some people can get with teenagers over desserts. The girls are nothing but friendly and patient especially when ordering cakes or not knowing what you would like to order yet. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone and everyone!

Ive tried this bakery several times since it is local to my house and everytime I go into this bakery the young girls working behind the counter are always extremely rude. On all of the occasions I have gone to this bakery their pastries have never been good and are more on the stale side. Their cannolis never have flavor and the pignolis are hard and looked like someone had already taken a bite out of them because they were ALL broken. In addition, this place never comes up with anything new for holidays or in general. Not sure how this buisness is still around because it is extremely horrible.

When I discovered this place about 10 years ago, it was good, but it has since gone downhill – badly! The products range from mediocre, to lousy & the service is poor. More often than not, you’ll get an attitude by the staff & the prices are too high given the quality of the products & service. This rating is based on several transactions, not just one. In case you’re wondering why I returned, i live 2 minutes away & sadly convenience sometimes wins out. I also chalked up the first one or two negative experiences as isolated incidents. I can now say with confidence that this place has consistently proven to be a disappointment. I will not be returning at all & instead will go out if my way for baked goods I don’t have to be embarrassed to serve my guests or bring to someone’s home.

As soon as I walked in the bakery I was asked what I wanted… I replied I don’t know yet my kids are deciding. She walked away with an attitude and told the other worker «they don’t know what they want». This is the second time I’ve been in the bakery and the second time I received and attitude from the owner. Fuck this place.

SO let me tell you I live right up the block so I could be going here constantly and telling everyone I know to do the same. but I don’t think that will be happening. Aside from their selection always being lack luster… the other day I sent my husband in there to ask for an empty 9inch cake size box. that he would pay for. They said they couldn’t sell the box so my husband in response asked if he may purchase a few cookies and place it in one of those boxes. and he was replied with well no you would have to fill the box with all of the cookies… What??? So he walks out… you choose to be uncooperative instead of getting a sale and FREE ADVERTISING for your bakery!!! Which by the looks of your consistently empty store was not a very smart move…

If you get there early and lucky enough get their cheese danish it will hypnotise you.

I have to admit, I haven’t been here in person, so I can’t write about what it looks like or their pricing.
But an Oreo cheesecake from this place turned up at a party I was at yesterday, and damn, but wasn’t it just about perfect! Smooth, rich and tasty.
Oh, and put me down as another person who thinks that Junior’s is vastly overrated. Their cheesecake just isn’t particularly good. Amici, however? Yum!

I tried this bakery a few times randomly bc my usual bakery Alfonso’s was packed. The cakes I have tried from here, coconut custard and peacan pie, were out of this world. I love, love cheese cake and have yet to find a good one besides the slices I’ve had in restaurants. I will def. try one from this place thanks to one of the previous posters.
Oh, and IMO Junior’s cheescake sucks. It’s like mud, unless you like your cheese cake really heavy which I don’t.

Overall — not bad. I usually enjoy their cakes. The cookies are okay — but not worth the price — I’d rather make the trip to Cookie Jar on Forest Avenue.
My husband ordered a cake for my daughter’s 2^nd Birthday. My father– in-​law picked it up. It was already tied up in the box. He asked «are you sure this is the right cake?» To which he got the reply «Yes, Happy 2^nd Birthday Elizabeth.» So he thought all was well. He brought the cake to our house and to our surprise when we opened it up the cake, although beautifully decorated, read «Happy 20^th Birthday Elizabeth» I wasn’t thrilled — especially since I like things to be just right! I guess when she’s 20 we will get a good laugh out of it — but for now I’m not laughing nor will I be ordering anything from there again! They obviously can’t handle a simple order!

This place lacks flavor.
Ive had dry pastries on different occasions.
Cakes are bland.
Not the best for a local bakery.
And to the other commenter, juniors has gone down hill? when was the last time you were there?

Move over Junior’s! These cheesecakes are delicious!
Since Junior’s cheesecakes have been going downhill, we didn’t know where else to go to get a really good cheesecake close by, until now and it’s right by our house. Our neighbors were kind enough to buy us some yummy Italian pastries and a cheesecake from this place. The cheesecake was the first thing gone by our guests.
Yesterday, we just purchased one of their cheesecakes just cause we were in the mood for some. They had two different types: strawberry and cherry. Both had a rim of whipped cream around the fruit at the top. They also accept custom orders so if you would rather have a plain cheesecake, they can make that too along with any other type of Italian pastry.
