Applebee’s

I have gotten food poisoning twice from here, and the rest of the times I left with very bad stomach pains. Was going to order the oriental chicken salad until the waitress revealed 90% of the dressing is lard. I refuse to go back

Manager was very unprofessional and rude. Food allergies need to be taken seriously and not treated as an inconvenience, The manager was aggressive and didn’t speak to us the way a manager or any human being in that case should be spoken to. I reached out to corporate and I’m hoping they will address this since I was told from another guest, that this is how the manager treats people here and she’s witnessed it on more than one occasion.

Food was ok, service slowwwww and salads came out long after meal after four reminders, have electronic trivia but its not free, I would not return

Wanted to go out for dinner this Wednesday night for their sangria but it was such a disappointment here. I asked how long the wait was and the hostess said 10 minutes which was fine since I was waiting for a friend. When my friend arrived, I noticed a lot of tables were empty but people were still waiting to be seated. I asked the hostess if we could be seated at any of the available tables. She said no, that the kitchen was backed up so we wouldn’t even get any food. Wouldn’t it be better to let people sit instead of having everybody crammed by the front door? It wasn’t even that busy. If it was packed then it might have been more understandable for the delay.
We eventually get seated but 10 – 15 minutes passed and no waiter/​waitress came to greet us or take our drink order. I heard other tables asking for their drinks and they’ve been seated since before I even got there.
We gave up, left, and had an enjoyable meal at Chilis. Five stars there.

I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 because it’s Christmas time. Currently here as I speak on Christmas Day, it’s not even crowded… There are tons of empty seats.
I could’ve went to outback and got a better, bigger, and cheaper, better quality steak. A small «9oz» steak, a few fries (which were an extra dollar) and 2 scoops of mashed potato isn’t worth 20 dollars. Not to mention most of the steak was FAT and my boyfriend said a part was actually UNDER COOKED. Sat there for 15 minutes with no forks, didn’t get asked for a refill the whole time, had to go up to 2 other waitresses (who were helpful) with my MOUTH DRIPPING of the sub-​par steak because we had no napkins. How embarrassing.
Just pulled another waitress to the side and said I want my check were getting out of here. She obviously knew why. I would’ve been more understanding if the place was packed, you had less than 10 people seated. Give me a break.

I don’t even know why I keep coming back… only once or twice a year but still… they never give me any silverware to eat with. I was eating my salad with my hands when the entrees were served. The girl actually asked me if wanted any silverware… Really? Was it not obvious???

After a recent lunch at this restaurant I have to admit that the service has improved much. From prompt service to tasty food I was satisfied by this dining decision.
Let me start by saying that the server was friendly, attentive, and prompt. She often refilled our drinks before we could even ask. She cleared our plates quickly and provided us with fresh napkins and straws when needed. The food was fresh and had great flavor, might I recommend the «triple hog dare you». Three types of pork with fried onions and Dijon sauce, delicious!
The only problem I can note on this visit is that the dining area was quite empty which baffles me for a midday hour. I visited at around 4pm. For a prime location on a busy main road this simply should not be. Perhaps my review will bring new life to a fine establishment.

Food is normal for an Applebee’s. My complaint is a couple of the staff that we’re having an argument at the bar and considering this is a family restaurant; using the F-​word every other sentence is EXTREMELY unprofessional!
Management needs to address this.

An Ill advised trip to this place, precipitated by everything else being closed, was one of those regret filled episodes that mirror the many times you have taken it too far; lay with that dangerously loose partner; touched your tongue to that frozen flag pole; knowing full well the consequences.
I was offended that they used food to make these food style dishes.
There was nothing «Kobe Style» about these hungry man dollar dinner meat balls.
The pot stickers seemed to be stuffed with ramen chicken flavored paper towel shreds.
This Kitchen of Dr Moreau; specializes in bizarre creations that might have once started out as food, but exit their laboratory on serving platters looking like sad, soulless, shells of their former selves.
Steer Clear.

Service is great but the food it’s not all that is expensive and the amount is really cater to kids food taste was not what I expected it was terrible and my plate looks like it was someone else and they gave me what they didn’t finish never again

When we came to this Applebee’s we were greeted right away. In less than 15 minutes we were seated in a comfortable round booth. The server were very accommodating with the special drink orders we had. The décor is spacious and it feels good sitting in there. The server was good in taking all the orders and repeated the orders back to us making sure we all had the right orders. The wait time for the appetizer was quick– about 10 – 15 minutes. The barbecue chicken was too crispy, and the chips with dips was small in portions. When the entrees came out, we immediately notice the lack in portion. I think it is because we ordered the ²⁄₂₀ deal. Otherwise we had a great meal. I would come back but not anytime soon.

After I entered the restaurant and was seated, I waited 20 minutes before a waitress came to take our DRINK order. Then, it took 20 minutes before the drinks arrived. We ordered food and when my tomato basil arrived, it was more like tomato sauce with burned unidentifiable chunks at the bottom. My daughter’s French onion soup had cheese, but at the very bottom of the bowl, and rather than the average French onion soup, which has either bread crumbs or soft, soaked bread, this soup had a small load of bread in it. We ordered nachos and the tortilla chips were barely considered «edible.» The service was FAR below standards. Goodbye Applebee’s. You officially lost a customer with this family lunch.

I’m already not a fan of the chains like apple bee’s or Fridays and the likes, but we were hungry and in the area, so we thought lets give it another shot. Well we should’ve stuck with our instincts.
The greeter/​host was pleasant and sat us quickly. It was a slow Sunday afternoon, however our waitress Kristine M. was miserable. She seemed like she didn’t want to be there and we were a hassle for asking for substitutions. They had none of the either «special» or «seasonal» items I requested and she was neither apologetic or suggestive. –I work in the service industry and was just completely disappointed with her overall disposition.
–The food was good and definitely generous the way chains do, but she didn’t even allow us to finish our appetizers before piling on the second course, by which time we had got to… it was getting cold. when we asked for the check she didn’t ask us to wrap the more than healthy left overs. the place was clean aside from there being no toilet paper in the girls bathroom.
all in all… im sticking with my initial feeling of those type of businesses.
NOT FOR ME.

Came here today for my birthday celebration. The service was good and even the manager was on the floor making sure customers were satisfied. We ordered a variety of foods, plus I had a birthday coupon from Applebee’s for a free 3-​course meal (via email sign-​up; absolutely free and no gimmicks).
Here’s what we ordered:
Appetizers:
–Appetizer sampler
–Fried Green Beans
— Grilled chicken wonton tacos
Entrees:
–9oz sirloin with baked potato and broccoli (from 2 for $ 20 combo)
–Double Roasted Whiskey sirloins
–bacon cheeseburger (from 2 for $ 20 combo)
–Cowboy burger
–Black & Bleu burger
Dessert:
–chocolate chip cookie sundae
Everything was spot on and had a bunch of flavors in them. We came early in the afternoon so the restaurant was a bit empty. Overall, it was a great way to celebrate my birthday here at Applebee’s.
The only thing I regret is not telling the staff it was my birthday so that I get a free bday dessert and song/​performance. :(

We came at lunch time, so it was pretty empty. We were seated right away, which was good. Our waitress was a little chatty, but food came out in ample time. All the food was like any other location. Your basic Applebee’s menu. The lunch combos were actually a decent size & I left feeling full.

I’ve come here a couple of times with my friend and it always seems decent. I haven’t encountered any unfriendly staff… most of them seem pretty attentive and are always there to put a smile on our faces.
I wouldn’t say the quality of the food is this best (I don’t know how much of it is due to Applebee’s as a chain and how much is due to the nature of this particular location). If you’re in the area and want some simple pastas, burgers, steaks, etc, stop by. If you’re looking for something fancy or unique or wonderful, this might not be the best place to come to.

went around 11 pm kinda late. Upon walking in the staff was very unattentive i had to go find a hostess and ask to be seated. Waitress was really nice though but food took forever to come. over 30 min. Cant complain about the food though i loved my steak. Overall it was an okay place to go hang out. Good food, staff was soso.

Okay, I wasn’t expecting much. My standards were low. And yet… I was still disappointed. How?
I’ll tell you how. It went downhill right off the bat. We were told it would be a 15 – 20 minute. Okay, it’s Friday night, completely understandable. We waited and waited, perhaps for 15 minutes, Names were called by the hostess. Mike, Joanne, Wendy, etc, etc. And no one else was left besides my boyfriend and I and the hostess walked over to us and said, «Are you waiting for a table?» Oh. Why, yes we are. We’re not just waiting here, admiring the artwork. And then she says, «What’s your name?» Mika. «OH! I COULDN’T READ THE HANDWRITING. THAT’S WHY WE CALLED MIKE. Oh. Really? I talked to YOU and YOU wrote it down. Okay.
Anyway, we sat down and the waitress ambushed us for our drink orders literally two seconds after. We opted for the 2 for $ 26 and ordered two drinks. We got the artichoke dip, which was mediocre at best, Spinach salad w/​grilled shrimp and three cheese penne. The salad was decent and very big. The three cheese penne, mediocre. We also got a mango and wildberry Main St. Rita (which is VERY different from a margarita, apparently). The drinks were good, with a strong bit of alcohol but when my boyfriend ordered the same drink again, it was terrible. They just dumped the syrups on the bottom and put some margarita mix on top but the boyfriends not a complainer.
I definitely wouldn’t return because there isn’t anything I crave on the menu and the price of the drinks aren’t worth it.
