I bring all of my cars to Barry’s. I love this place. The people are very friendly and very helpful.

If I could give negative stars I would… STAYAWAY!!! I started this whole thing with a dented bumper that I had Allstate quote at $ 1200 with 7 hrs of labor and $ 600 in parts. I went to Barry’s with the Allstate quote and asked them to fix my bumper. Three days later I received a supplemental estimate in the mail that Barry’s/Allstate agreed on. It included over $ 2000 in parts(that weren’t originally damaged) and 114 hrs of labor(totaling over $ 5000)…that’s right 114 hrs of labor, for a dented bumper!!! I promptly requested, in person, that they stop work on my car immediately. I called Allstate and expressed my concerns about insurance fraud. After a week of phone calls and emails they said the only thing they could do was a re-inspection after I received the car back. While, this is going on the Allstate guy is sending me pictures from the adjuster showing my car totally dismantled with damage that wasn’t there when I dropped it off. At this point I called Barry’s to get my car back and bring it to another repair shop. They proceeded to explain to me that the person I told to «stop work on my car,» didn’t have the authorization to do so. The following day I received a second supplement to the original estimate, totaling over $ 900, bringing the grand total to approximately $ 2500 in parts and $ 6500 in labor(now totally 130 hrs of labor for a dented bumper). I can’t help but feel as though I was taken advantage of and defrauded. Unless you’re benefitting from their scams… stay away!!! I’ll include a picture of the original damage to show you what a $ 9000 repair looks like at Barry’s. Good luck!

First time ever posting a review but had to do it to save at least one person. Extremely unhelpful people from manager Barry down to office staff. Inconsiderate to your time and unable to resolve conflict when arises. More worried about getting paid for what they did already then completing the job and making customer happy. 1 star because I had to.

Nasty, snobs who talk to customers like garbage and forget to call when the cars done. They are the exact reason I refuse to enter businesses with that chamber of commerce sticker on the window. And all I had was a window replaced. First they tell me a couple hours. My car was there for 3 days. Still hear glass in the door a year later and it leaks. I would bring it back but I never want to speak that arrogant office staff again.

I’ve been going to Barry’s for well over a decade now and every experience has been a good one, whether a head scratching accident or a shoulder to boohoo on about just being parked an getting smashed. He has always delivered a quality repair and service an restored my vehicle to its original look. I recommend him to everyone. Auto body can sometimes be a scummy and horrible experience but Barry makes the experience easier.
