I had a good experience w/​this group of people here on Staten Island. I was prescribed my 1st set of glasses. The process (from getting there to walking out for my prescript) took, at most, 45 mins. Everyone was friendly. My glasses were ready for pick up 1 week later. The only drawback I have is that the group is ONLY available [even by phone in SI or N. Baldwin] on Tues & Thur. Following my appt on a Thur, I attempted calling that Fri w/​a question, but could NOT reach anyone.

They are extremely helpful and know what they are doing. The team there does a good job, calls you back when promised, provides you a decent appointment time and even help you pick out glasses. They also take them time to get to know you and remember your name!

I didn’t know the real meaning of the word nincompoop until I met these people. What should have taken at most an hour took more than a month, with two prescription re-​dos. And what’s worse, I wasn’t the only one — a guy in front of me was trying on his glasses and saying he can’t see too. They put on a semblance of caring, but ultimately they screw up everything.
